How many kinds of Chinese herbal medicines are recorded in Compendium of Materia Medica?

Compendium of Materia Medica consists of 52 volumes, including 1892 kinds of drugs, including 374 kinds of new drugs, and collected prescriptions 1 1096 pieces. The book also drew 1 160 beautiful illustrations and prescriptions 165438.

Compendium of Materia Medica has many versions. Except for various foreign language versions or abridged versions, there are about 72 kinds in China, which can be roughly divided into "one ancestor and three systems", namely, the ancestral version (Jinling version, Sheyuan version) and the Jiangxi version, the former version and the Zhang version.
