How is the accommodation in Hefei University of Technology? Is the electricity consumption in the dormitory restricted? How much is the electricity bill?
Generally speaking, freshmen and sophomores live in the new district (Emerald Lake Campus), and juniors and seniors live in the south campus (urban area). Individual majors have lived in the new district for 4 years, such as Jianyi.
On the other side of the new area, there are usually four people, all of whom are upper bunks. Below are desks and cabinets, separate bathrooms and air conditioning. Only building 12 is not a four-person room, but it seems to be a six-person room or an eight-person room. Note that there is no private toilet in this building, only a public toilet. In terms of diet, there are five canteens in the new district. There is also a bathhouse, which is a separate room. Everyone sends out 5 kwh of electricity every month. If the electricity consumption exceeds, the power will be cut off. You have to recharge your card (meal card) downstairs at 10. The electricity in the dormitory is limited. My personal feeling is about 500W W, so high-power appliances can't be used. Generally, the hair dryer can't be used in the second gear (unless there is a low-power hair dryer, which many people have). Generally, the new district will be powered on all night after the weather gets hot, and will be powered off in the afternoon 1 1 after the weather turns cold.
South, it depends on the specific situation. Generally speaking, the rooms for four people are bunk beds, and there is no separate bathroom. There are two bunk beds for six people, which is crowded, but there are private bathrooms for six people, and some buildings will have balconies. Toilets and canteens are similar to the new area, and the electricity consumption is similar. North Building 10 also pays the electricity fee. There are some exceptional floors in the South District, such as Building 7 and the Girls' Building. The configuration is the same as the four rooms in the new area, with balcony and private bathroom. There is also 10 south building, with 6 people and private toilets. Both men and women live in this building, and there is no electricity (you can use several induction cookers at the same time), so you don't have to pay the electricity bill. However, in one case, there is no air conditioning because the line here in the southern district is not working. There seems to be no electricity in the south area.
There is no water heater in the independent bathroom in the south area of the new district. Generally, you can pump hot water next to the stairs on the floor, and you need a water card to use it.
There are supermarkets and ATMs in the school, and you can also go shopping around the school.
In the south, in fact, four people don't necessarily live in four rooms, some only live in three rooms, and so do six people. Maybe there are only four people living, and some students will rent a house outside. I remember that the South Building in South District 10 lived in the Materials Institute.
