The customs of Spring Festival in Northeast China include jiaozi, eating frozen goods, lighting long-lived lanterns, not cutting hair and giving out red envelopes.

1. Bao jiaozi

Northerners have the habit of eating jiaozi during the Spring Festival. On the eve of the Lunar New Year's Eve, the whole family will get together and chat while Bao jiaozi.
