How to treat adenoids conservatively?
Adenoid hypertrophy mostly occurs in children, which is a common disease in children. Adenoid hypertrophy can lead to snoring, hearing loss, inattention and maxillary hypoplasia. Therefore, adenoidal hypertrophy needs active treatment, and conservative treatment and surgical treatment can be adopted.
Conservative treatment is needed, such as oral montelukast, saline nasal spray and triamcinolone acetonide nasal spray. The course of treatment is four weeks. If the symptoms caused by adenoid hypertrophy are relieved or disappeared after four weeks, the treatment will continue for four weeks. If there is no obvious effect, surgery is needed.
