When was the history of Wucheyan Village in Yuyao built?
Wuche weir, formerly known as pentagonal weir, was named after adding a weir at the intersection of five rivers and five roads. From east to north, every village is built along the river. Wucheyan Village naturally formed a relatively prosperous rural market town as early as the Song Dynasty, and it still retains this traditional custom until modern times. Wucheyan Village still retains a large number of courtyards with the characteristics of Northwest Yao, reflecting the basic features of the ancient town of Northwest Yao water town from Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. From 2065438 to April 2009, Wucheyan Village was included in the first batch of provincial-level traditional villages in Zhejiang Province.
