Suichang tenfold
Fan Shi is a popular form of instrumental music in the south of the Yangtze River in the late Ming Dynasty. It combines various musical instruments and plays several pieces in turn. Ten is the number, the number is the time, and ten times is the content that is played repeatedly. Fan Shi in different places has different musical styles because of different musical instrument combinations. Formally speaking, it is called "Fan Shi in literature" and "Fan Shi in martial arts", and in terms of content, it is also called content and region. Fan Shi in Suichang, known as "Fan Shi Kunqu Opera in Suichang", is unique in ten traditional dramas such as Peony Pavilion, Purple Hairpin, Conan, Handan, Palace of Eternal Life and Huansha. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Tang Xianzu served as the magistrate of Suichang for five years. During this period, Tang Xianzu brought Kunqu opera to Suichang, and the folk formed the tradition of singing Kunqu opera. During the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, Kunqu Opera classes, singing classes, gongs and drums, and top ten performances in Suichang were particularly prosperous. There are ten teams in the county, Dazhe, Shi Lian and Hushan, and there are also ten teams in the women's large class and small class. Its performances are mainly temple fairs and parades at the Spring Festival Lantern Festival, as well as performances in festival halls and festivals. In the 1950s, the temple fair was closed, and Kunqu opera was silent for decades, and it was on the verge of being lost.
1984, when the Suichang County Cultural Center conducted a folk custom survey, the Fan Shi team was restored to participate in the county-wide cultural performance on the 35th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in Yixian Village, Hushan Township. The County Cultural Center adapted the traditional play "Peony Pavilion" into an instrumental ensemble "Tian Jun New Music" and won the prize in the provincial music and dance performance. Later, due to various reasons of the organizers, Fan Shi was banned again.
In the winter of 2000, comrades from the county cultural center went to the countryside for investigation, and found five or six old artists in their seventies and eighties in Shikengkou village of Shilian town, and found Fan Shi's works spectrum, which mobilized the young people in the village to inherit Fan Shi. In August, 20001,Fan Shi team from Shikengkou participated in the presentation performance of the first annual meeting of China Tang Xianzu Research Association held in Suichang County, which was highly praised by experts and paid attention by the media. Suichang Kunqu Opera was reported by CCTV, Zhejiang TV and Shanghai Oriental TV. In 2004 and 2005, CCTV came to Suichang twice to shoot ten special programs of Kunqu Opera. In 2004, the county cultural department restored Hushan Mountain for ten times in Yishan Village, Hushan Township.
Shi Lian Stone, mainly composed of stringed instruments such as sheng, flute, cloud gong, plum pipe, violin, flat drum, Shuangqing and Sanxian, plays traditional famous dramas such as Peony Pavilion with elegant style, commonly known as "Wen". Hushan Fan Shi is composed of orchestral and percussion instruments such as Sanxian, Shuangqing, Yunluo, Sheng, Meiguan, Violin, Pioneer, Suona, Gong, Drum, etc. It plays the Eight Immortals of Fu Zi, Eight Immortals of Flat Peach and Tongtianhe? The music styles of dramas such as Out of the Fish are relatively extensive, commonly known as "Wu Shifan".
March 2004. Fan Shi Kunqu Opera in Suichang was listed as a support project of Zhejiang national folk art protection project. The county government declared Shikengkou Village in Shi Lian as the base of Fan Shi Kunqu Opera, and established the Fan Shi Kunqu Opera Heritage School in the county experimental primary school and Shi Lian town primary school. There are ten teams in the county cultural center, and there are ten teams for Shi Xunnv. In June 2006, Suichang County was named as "the hometown of folk art in Zhejiang Province (ten fans of Kunqu Opera)". In September, "Ten Returns of Kunqu Opera" participated in the large-scale opening performance of "2006 China Suichang Tang Xianzu Cultural Festival and Tang Xianzu International Academic Seminar". The ancient and unique Ten Returns of Kunqu Opera won high praise from the audience and experts and scholars attending the meeting. In 65438+February, "Kunqu Fan Shi" was listed in the first batch of intangible cultural heritage protection lists by Suichang County and Lishui City, and was announced as a Zhejiang intangible cultural heritage list project in 2007 and a national intangible cultural heritage list project in June 2008.
Suichang Fan Shi is the strangest of the ten places. The ensemble of Qi music is neither a folk ditty nor a beating of gongs and drums, but a simple and elegant "North-South Ci" with the Kunqu Qupai in Tang Xianzu's Four Dreams, especially the Peony Pavilion as the main repertoire.
For hundreds of years, the top ten folk artists in Suichang followed suit, taking the Zheng Kun Palace Pool score of Tang Xianzu's Peony Pavilion as the opening score of their singing and playing Kunqu Opera. In 200 1 year, the first annual meeting of China Tang Xianzu Research Association was held in Suichang. Once it was performed, it attracted wide attention from experts and scholars.
Suichang is located between Lishui and Quzhou, with Songyang High Cavity in the east and Xi 'an High Cavity and Houyang High Cavity in the north. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it has always been a traditional land of high-pitched, excessive and grass-rich. Kunqu opera can go deep into the people, and researchers generally believe that Tang Xianzu promoted the spread of Kunqu opera in Suichang.
Tang Xianzu called Suichang "xian county" more than once and called himself "Xian Ling". Tang Xianzu, who loves nature by nature, traveled all over the city.
In the fourth year of Ming Dynasty, Jinshi Longtu visited Tang Xianzu in Suichang many times and visited Dushan. As he walked, he passed the Nanqiao Building at the entrance of the village and stopped in front of the Ye Memorial archway at the entrance of the village. This archway was built by Chi Yude, the magistrate of Suichang County, for his father during the Ming Dynasty.
Dramatist Tu Long has his own Kunqu opera class, and Tang Xianzu can also review the music. They used to read and discuss The West Chamber together at night. Although Tang Xianzu and Tu Long have different views on "love", the essence of The West Chamber is the word "love". For the Peony Pavilion written by Tang Xianzu, the dream came out of emotion and became a play, which gave Du Liniang illusory and true feelings, and a Qimxy handed down from generation to generation was born.
Tang Xianzu was not born in Suichang, but as a world cultural celebrity and his Peony Pavilion, he was praised as a masterpiece of world literature. Suichang, as the place where Tang Xianzu was in charge of the creation of Peony Pavilion, has always been a place where Chinese and foreign experts and scholars of "Tang Studies" came to visit the former site, collect historical materials and conduct on-the-spot investigation and research.
From 65438 to 0995, the Tang Xianzu Memorial Hall built in Suichang has now developed into an important base for spreading and popularizing Tang Xianzu culture in China.
While protecting and cultivating the original ecological folk Kunqu culture in Fan Shi, Shi Lian, Tang Xianzu Memorial Hall set up a Kunqu training center to learn and perform Peony Pavilion based on the three cultural brands of "Tang Xianzu's world cultural celebrity, Peony Pavilion's world cultural masterpiece and Kunqu Opera's world cultural heritage", which made Tang Xianzu's culture form a development pattern with ten regional folk fans and elegant connotation.
