The date of this competition is 19 -20, and there is a round at 3 pm and 7 pm every day. There will also be two large-scale events during the tournament. 18, the 10th anniversary celebration of Chengdu Chess Institute and the "Golden Crown Chess City Forum" will be held in Chengdu Vocational and Technical College. Special guest Dang Fei, the founder of Guinness World Records for Blind Chess, will give a lecture on "Chess is Life" and perform 1 8 chess for blind people with college students.
On the 20th, the Jinsha Forum will be held in the theme block of learning a strong country. Wu, the author of "A Brief History of Chess" and vice chairman of Sichuan Chess Association, will give a lecture on "Why do we love chess" to further promote Chinese excellent traditional culture. Chengdu Global Chess Competition has built a communication platform for chess players and chess organizations from all over the world, and promoted the integration and development of chess culture.
Global chess duet
The Global Chess Duet is sponsored by the World Chess Federation and Chengdu Municipal People's Government, undertaken by China Qi Xiang Association and Chengdu Sports Bureau, and co-organized by Chengdu Chess Academy and Chengdu Chess Association. The Global Chess Duet is the first world-class chess duet in China independently founded by Chengdu, and ranks as one of the five world-class events under the World Chess Federation along with the World Chess Championship, the World Chess Open, the World Junior Chess Championship and the World Chess Championship.
