Different countries and civilizations have different understandings about the basic composition of the world.

According to ancient India and Indian Buddhism, the world consists of four elements: earth, wind, water and fire.

The traditional culture of China thinks that everything in the world can be divided into two parts, Yin and Yang, and the basic elements that make up the world are five elements, namely, gold, wood, water, fire and earth.
