8. It is conducive to improving people's living standards and achieving prosperity. It is conducive to mobilizing farmers' enthusiasm for production and supporting rural construction.

Legal Basis: Agricultural Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) Article 1 This Law is formulated in order to consolidate and strengthen the basic position of agriculture in the national economy, deepen rural reform, develop agricultural productivity, promote agricultural modernization, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of farmers and agricultural production and operation organizations, increase farmers' income, improve farmers' scientific and cultural quality, promote the sustained, stable and healthy development of agriculture and rural economy, and realize the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way.
