What are the characteristics of electronically controlled injection systems for automobile engines?
Compared with previous engines using carburetors, the fuel injection systems of modern automobiles are very different in the way they supply fuel. Previously, carbureted engines used air to flow through the throat above the throttle to create negative pressure, thus sucking out the gasoline in the float chamber of the fuel tank, and the air and gasoline were mixed inside the carburetor. This method of fuel supply did not allow for very precise control of the air-fuel ratio due to the strong influence of air pressure and outside temperature. Electronically controlled fuel injection (EFI) is an electronic control unit (engine computer or ECU) as the core, the use of different sensors installed in the car detected signals as the basis for fuel injection, precise control of fuel injection, in different engine conditions to achieve a satisfactory concentration of the mixture. The electronically controlled engine injection system is divided into gas supply system, fuel supply system and electronic control system. The air supply system can provide appropriate air intake for each cylinder according to the engine operating conditions, and has a flow meter for calculating the air intake and a crankshaft speed sensor for calculating the injection volume. The engine electronically controlled injection system is characterized by multi-point injection, i.e., an injector is installed on the intake manifold outside each cylinder, and the fuel pressure is adjusted by a pressure regulator to make the fuel pressure in the fuel rail the same, so as to ensure that the same amount of fuel is injected by each injector, solving the problem of uneven distribution of air and fuel in the mixture. The way of controlling the amount of fuel is more precise, and the control of the air-fuel ratio can be said to be responsive at all times and sensitive to the driving experience. There are many ways in which the engine controls the fuel circuit to reduce emission pollution in the exhaust gas and save gasoline. Engine operating conditions are not affected by the external environment and temperature, and changes in air intake caused by atmospheric pressure and density can be corrected by different air-fuel ratios when operating in different areas. In conclusion, the electronically controlled engine injection system has many advantages and features, which can accurately control the amount of fuel injection, improve the performance of the automobile and reduce exhaust emissions, and is an important part of modern automobile engines. In the use of the process should pay attention to the protection of electronic components and circuits, do not modify the circuit privately.
