1, cut a rectangular piece of paper. 23 cm wide and 30 cm long. Fold in half vertically. Get a slender rectangle. Put it on the table and fold it by yourself. Draw a horizontal line with a ruler below the top of the rectangle 1 inch.

2, starting from the bottom of the rectangle 2.5 cm, use scissors to cut a straight line from the crease to the horizontal line, move one inch, and then cut a straight line from the crease to the horizontal line, one day. Repeat this process until 2.5 cm remains at the other end of the rectangle. Unfold the rectangle and tie the long sides, thus forming the original lantern shape.

3. Cut out a piece of paper 15cm long and 2.5cm wide, and stick it on the lantern. This is the handle. Repeat this process with different colors of paper. Make different lanterns in the same way. Then put the rope through their handles so that a string of lanterns can be hung in the house!
