What are soy sauce and vinegar made of?
Soy sauce is a traditional condiment in China. Liquid condiment brewed from beans, wheat and bran. It is reddish-brown, with unique sauce flavor and delicious taste, which helps to promote appetite.
Vinegar is a fermented sour liquid condiment, which is mostly made of glutinous rice, sorghum, rice, corn, wheat, sugar and alcohol. Vinegar was called "Zu Ⅱ" in ancient times, and the word "Zu Ⅱ" appeared before the Zhou Dynasty. In the Zhou royal family, there is already a "Zu re n" who is responsible for the supply of vinegar in the royal family. Japan still uses the word "zuê ré n" to refer to vinegar.
