At present, the Three Character Classic is roughly divided into two categories: the traditional version and the new version.

The traditional version of the Three Character Classic was originally written by Wang Yinglin in the Song Dynasty, so the "history" part of the original book ended in the Song Dynasty, thus "Seventeen Histories, All in One".
