1. To apply for the qualification examination of Chinese medicine doctors, apprentices must have a high school education or equivalent, and have been studying with the teacher for three consecutive years;

2. Teachers must have the qualifications of practicing doctors of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine and have been engaged in clinical work of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine for more than 0/5 years, or have the qualifications of professional and technical positions above the deputy chief physician of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine;

3. Professionals who have applied to take the qualification examination for doctors of traditional Chinese medicine shall be engaged in clinical practice of traditional medicine for more than 5 years according to law, master unique, safe and effective traditional medical diagnosis and treatment techniques, and be confirmed by the provincial and municipal health and traditional Chinese medicine administrative departments with specialized medical skills;

4. Apprentices and professionals with expertise can apply for the qualification examination of practicing assistant doctors under the guidance of medical practitioners after obtaining the Certificate of Apprenticeship in Traditional Medicine or the Certificate of Appraisal in Traditional Medicine, and the medical institutions that have issued the Certificate of Apprenticeship in Traditional Medicine or the Certificate of Appraisal in Traditional Medicine have passed the 1 year probation period and passed the examination.

The process of obtaining the qualification certificate of Chinese medicine practice

It is well known that TCM is scarce in China, so there is a huge gap in TCM in China, and all the students trained by TCM are interested in TCM industry.

Apprentices mainly learn medical skills from people who have the qualifications of practicing doctors of traditional Chinese medicine or ethnic medicine. Instructors also need to be engaged in clinical work of traditional Chinese medicine or ethnic medicine for more than 0/5 years, or have the qualifications of professional and technical positions above the deputy chief physician of traditional Chinese medicine or ethnic medicine. The number of instructors is no more than 2.

Generally, you need to study with the teacher for 3 years, and you need to be notarized by a notary office at or above the county level when you study with the teacher. After the expiration of the study period, you can sign up for the exam.
