Kaili buffalo fighting is what custom

Many villages in Qiandongnan hold bullfighting competitions (commonly known locally as "bullfighting") on selected dates or at important festivals every year. Bullfighting cattle, are special carefully bred, not engaged in plowing, pulling carts, pushing mill and other labor, are male buffalo, divided into wide-horned, narrow-horned two levels. Bullfighting system, first for the elimination, the duel changed to a single round-robin tournament, the final winner for the annual bull king. The bullfighting scene is very tragic, exciting, the audience is less than hundreds, more than tens of thousands. Bullfighting has a history of thousands of years among the Miao and Dong ethnic groups in Qiandongnan. The large-scale and influential ones are the Miao bullfighting and Dong bullfighting held in Kaili (Kamakawan and Nanhua Village in Yutang Town), Leishan (Xijiang Thousand Households Miaoli Village), Taijiang (the county town and Shidong Town), Jianhe and other counties and cities, and the Dong bullfighting held in Liping, Congjiang and Rongjiang. Bullfighting competitions are also held during the Kaili International Lusheng Festival, the Liping Chinese Dong Drum Tower Art Festival and the Rongjiang Sama Festival. The Dong people have also created a dance called ancient bullfighting based on the bullfighting competitions.
