Using Festival Education to Promote Children's Social Development

Sociality is the ability that children must have all their lives. It is a comprehensive ability and a practical ability. While we constantly emphasize the development of children's intelligence and the cultivation of special skills, we also neglect the cultivation and training of children's social development in manners, rules, sense of responsibility, sense of cooperation and independent ability to some extent. In today's society, children should not only learn to learn, but also learn to be human and learn to live.

Using festival education to promote children's social development Early childhood is the period when all aspects of human quality begin to form, so we should lay the foundation of good people's initial quality in this important period. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, parents' psychological requirements of "looking forward to their children's success and their daughters' success" are more urgent. Modern society is open and free to develop, which requires children to have the ability of social communication and activities. However, today's only children are "little princesses" and "little princes". They just lack opportunities to communicate and cooperate with others, and are more or less unsociable and selfish.

How to use the collective education environment to help children overcome the negative aspects of their growth and promote the healthy growth of the only child is the primary task of today's social development. In the next interview, I will talk about how to promote the social development of large class children from the conclusions I have drawn from my research and practice in a school year.

First, promote the social development of large class children in theme activities.

Under the background of the second curriculum reform, children's learning content is presented in the form of themes. We explored the hidden educational content in the theme and promoted their social development. For example, the theme of "preparing for primary schools" pays attention to the relationship between children and promotes the development of children's social adaptability; The theme of "how people work" can help children understand the working environment and content of people in various industries and promote the development of their social behavior. The theme of "environmental protection guards" can help children know how to protect and care for the environment and promote their social and emotional development. The theme of "Goodbye, Kindergarten" focuses on saying goodbye to teachers and peers, which promotes the development of children's social communication ability. ...

Another example is social activities such as "Stories in the Hospital" and "Urban Beauticians". We use the resources of parents to invite mothers who are doctors and aunts who are sanitation workers to give lessons to their children. During the activity, children are encouraged to ask questions freely, and through role-playing interviews with small reporters, they can directly understand the two professions of sanitation workers and doctors.

This accumulation of experience is more vivid and effective than our teacher's simple and rude narration. When organizing the "Our Favorite Environment" social activity, we used the network resources to download photos of beautiful environment and messy environment, and also downloaded videos of environmental governance, so that children can clearly understand what kind of environment we need through comparison, and let them understand the importance of environmental protection in concrete image perception.

Second, combine traditional folk festivals to promote the social development of large-class children.

The jubilant Spring Festival, Lantern Festival and homesick Tomb-Sweeping Day are all very important festivals in our year. Combining these traditional folk festivals, we independently design holiday plans, and promote children's social development through theme festival activities, holiday environment edification, holiday parent-child activities, etc., so that children can have a preliminary understanding of traditional folk festivals in China, experience the happiness of festivals, and care for their parents, the elderly and their peers.

For example, combine traditional folk festivals and carry out some special festivals. The Double Ninth Festival is coming. We organize children to visit lonely old people in nursing homes, give them fruit biscuits saved by ourselves, give them performances, knock their legs and beat their backs, and take practical actions to care for the elderly.

Another example is the Dragon Boat Festival on the fifth day of May. We organize children to make zongzi and watch dragon boat races. We prepared zongzi leaves, rice and thread for them to wrap zongzi, and let them try slowly with my pace. Many children can package it and fully experience the joy of success.

I also downloaded some photos of the dragon boat race online for the children to enjoy. After seeing the photos, they know that the special event of the Dragon Boat Festival is the dragon boat race. Twenty or thirty people can sit on the dragon boat, and the bow is made into the shape of a faucet. The drummer sits on the bow to stimulate morale in the competition.

Another example: combine traditional folk festivals and carry out some holiday parent-child activities. We contact each parent and communicate with each other. * * * Build a bridge of holiday education together, and so does our home. Let holiday education produce good educational effect, let children accumulate holiday experience, feel the happiness of the holiday, and experience the happiness of mutual care and cooperation between parents and children. For example, during the March 8th Festival, children draw their wishes to their mothers and make them into greeting cards. I mailed it to my mothers, who were very warm when they received their children's blessings and wrote back to their children. Letters that come and go convey children's love for their mothers and mothers' love for their children.

Third, combine current events to promote the social development of large class children.

Children are also social people. Living in this society, they will always hear some social current events. Therefore, we will seize the opportunity to use various teaching media to generate various teaching programs, and promote children's social development through their independent participation and emotional experience.

For example, the combination of Wenchuan earthquake has aroused the resonance of children. After the 5 12 Wenchuan earthquake, we firmly grasped this social hotspot and produced a series of activities. We downloaded relevant pictures and videos to help children further understand the harm caused by the earthquake and help them understand the national spirit of national disaster relief and unity. During the activity, many children shed sad tears. They really want to talk to the people in the disaster area, and some say: Hold on, uncle of the People's Liberation Army will definitely come to save you; Some said: you must live and be useful people in the future; Others said: We will help you rebuild your home. The children generously donated their pocket money in the fund-raising activities. They also made greeting cards for the children in the disaster areas, and hung their best wishes for the children in the disaster areas on the prayer tree.

One side is in trouble, and the consciousness of support from all directions has been strongly reflected in their young bodies.

Another example: combining the Beijing Olympic Games to arouse children's attention to current events. Beijing Olympic Games is another hot topic in China, and our kindergarten is no exception. In the theme activities, we added some contents about the Olympic Games, such as language activities "Olympic Fuwa", "Welcome to the Olympic Games, my little question mark", art activities "My favorite Fuwa" and comprehensive activities "Winning a gold medal at the Olympic Games", so that children can deepen their understanding of the Olympic Games in the process of collecting and sharing information, and generate patriotic feelings and national pride in listening, speaking, painting and singing.

Fourth, let children enter the society, experience the real world and promote their social development.

We should let children know the state of real life, get rid of the fairy tale world and enter the real world. For example, we lead our children to the crossroads to learn about traffic lights and related traffic rules; Let children participate in the cleaning of kindergartens, plant trees and water them in communities, pull radishes in fields, pick up garbage in parks, and understand and appreciate the labor and hard work of parents, teachers and service personnel in public places; Guide children to visit the workplaces of firefighters and police officers, listen to them explain safety knowledge, and let children know how to save themselves and call the police in an emergency, how to prevent danger, and how to ask others for help; Take children to understand the public facilities of the community, the natural scenery and cultural traditions of their hometown, and deepen their understanding of the environment ... crossing the traffic lights is an experience of traffic rules; Personal labor is the experience of hard work and sweat; Visiting workplaces of different occupations is an experience of different social roles. For another example, before the arrival of World Environment Day on June 5th, we carefully designed a publicity campaign for environmental protection guards to take to the streets.

During the activity, children held their own flags, distributed their own environmental protection posters and shouted environmental protection slogans, which attracted the active attention of the citizens. In addition, we also led the children to visit some primary schools to be attended. Through these personal perceptions and experiences, they have gained valuable social knowledge.

Fifth, promote children's social development in daily life.

There are many educational opportunities in our daily life. We should always capture information from children, give them appropriate guidance and encouragement, and promote their social development. For example, in the morning exercise, Hengheng wants to play skipping rope week after week. It was supposed to be good to play for a while, but Yu Hengheng wanted to acquiesce. Therefore, one is to give up cheerfully, and the other is to strictly abide by the agreement and must take it back. A "seesaw battle" began like this. So I asked the reason in time and verified the agreement with them.

In fact, the children in the big class know exactly what mistakes they have made. We just need to emphasize that "if you keep your word, others will lend you toys to play with", and then let them play again, and feel that it is not difficult to borrow again, so that they can understand that as long as they have confidence in others, they will have more opportunities to play.

Another example is that in the book corner, Yao Yuan and Tong Tong had an argument, and they were both fighting for the book Snow White. At this time, I will use the "good toys to play together" I learned in the activity to educate them, to read good books together or in turn, to be modest and to share the fun in the book.

In a word, social ability is the most important ability in a person's life and the basis for survival in society. Therefore, we must fully understand and grasp the physical and psychological characteristics of large-class children, and take various active and effective measures to promote their social development and lay a good foundation for their lifelong development.
