How to include traditional culture in teaching

Moral education for elementary school students occupies an important position in elementary school teaching, and it is mainly based on the education of social morality with the basic content of the five loves and the education of relevant social general knowledge, which is relatively old-fashioned and easy for students to get tired of it. The traditional Chinese culture classics contain excellent traditional virtues and play a positive role in cultivating the moral character of primary school students. By accumulating these classics in their minds, they will influence their future attitudes and directions in their young minds. Therefore, the use of Chinese classics for moral education is a very important way of moral education for primary school students.

One, the Chinese classics contain rich resources for moral education

The traditional Chinese culture has a long history, and five thousand years of cultural precipitation has nurtured the Chinese people's honesty and friendship, gentle and courteous elegant personality. Other classics, such as "Children's Instructions", "Xiaojing", "Li Ji", "Yan's Family Trainings" and a series of other classics contain excellent traditional virtues. Learning the classics of Chinese culture allows primary school students to systematically face the essence of traditional Chinese culture, accept the cultivation of traditional Chinese culture and traditional virtues, and form excellent moral qualities in the process of imbibing them.

The moral significance of Chinese classics
