Where is rum produced?

Antonio rum is mainly made from sugarcane juice and sugarcane syrup, which is obtained by fermentation and distillation. Essentially, it is a by-product of sugar industry. In other words, the land rich in sugarcane is an ideal place to brew rum, and its producing areas are mostly in the West Indies. Jamaica, as the pillar of sugar industry, has the most famous rum brand-Bacardi.
