Is it forbidden to use bamboo piles?

There is no ban. Pile foundation is to transfer the building load to the foundation through the pile end or pile side, thus supporting the building. Upon inquiry, the use of bamboo piles is not prohibited. Bamboo pile is a special prestressed pipe pile. Mainly because the pile body is concave and convex, it is named bamboo pile. Bamboo pile can prevent liquefaction of foundation soil during earthquake and improve lateral resistance, and its bearing capacity is 30% to 40% higher than that of ordinary pile.
