I have peanuts in my hand. Is there a long-term price trend for peanuts? The market is not very good now. Is it temporary or will it continue to fall?
Peanuts in our whole area have only three uses:
1 Oil pressing, peanuts are too expensive to be replaced by other oils. At present, all kinds of edible oils will not rise except rapeseed oil. From this perspective, it is difficult to rise;
2 rice noodles are in the breakfast shop. People here have been used to eating rice noodles in the morning for many years and like to put some crispy peanuts on it. But after the price rose sharply last year, most rice noodle shops stopped putting peanuts and put some other side dishes instead.
It is fried and eaten as a vegetable. In the past, the retail price was two or three yuan a catty, but now it is eight or six yuan last year, so everyone eats less. It is not cost-effective to buy food now because of inflation.
Peanut can be replaced in the above three aspects, and it rose a big round last year. The current high prices are not attractive to speculative hot money. Therefore, I don't see any signs of a big increase.
