What is the main way of pig house ventilation?
①Air intake on one side, exhaust on the other side

Traditional longitudinal ventilation is relatively cheap to build and easy to maintain, but it has the disadvantage that the ventilation is uncontrollable, uneven, and the temperature of the pig house is not constant.
The ventilation is very large in summer and works very well, but when the temperature is not so high, the ventilation does not need to be so large, and the problem arises.
The cold air sinks downward and brings up ammonia, sinking debris, etc. near the ground, resulting in less fresh air at the back end, pigs getting gassy and not getting enough oxygen supply.
Set an air inlet window at the left air inlet and control the air outlet. In order to achieve the purpose of controlling the air inlet speed and air inlet volume, it can avoid wide range of temperature fluctuation and solve the problems of temperature change, stuffiness and ammonia concentration in the back end of the pig house. Third, the air distribution is more uniform.
The outgoing air can blow directly to the head of the pig, which can ensure that each sow in the farrowing house gets an even and controllable air volume, and, moreover, meets the different temperatures required by the sows and piglets.
Taking a pig farm in Liaoning as an example, in summer, the wind passes through the water curtain and takes away some of the heat, and then the cooled air enters the triangle on the ceiling through the air inlet holes. In winter, the roller shutter is lowered to cover the water curtain, and the wind enters through the air inlet under the eaves and preheats into the ceiling via the heater. Its advantage is that the air intake is uniform, suitable for dry areas in the north. The disadvantage is that the cost is a little higher, the construction is more difficult, and is not suitable for high temperature and high humidity areas. Dryer areas, such as maternity wards, breeding houses can choose this model.

The advantage is that the air intake effect is good, to ensure that the ventilation of each pig is uniform, suitable for high temperature and high humidity areas. It also needs the help of a cold curtain system, which keeps the temperature of the water always around 23°C through the work of the compressor, and passes to the chest of the sow's farrowing beds to cool down and dehumidify more effectively.
