What is the longest thing in the world; what is the shortest thing?

With the goal system, but also need to "time management" skills, all the goals are prioritized, as soon as possible to achieve one by one, to improve the efficiency of life. First, the world's longest and shortest things

Once upon a time, there was a rich man in Africa named Time. He owned countless poultry and livestock of all kinds, his land was boundless, he grew everything in his fields, his great chests were stuffed with all kinds of treasures, and his barns were filled with grain. This rich man possessed so much property that even people from abroad knew about it, so merchants from various countries came from far and wide, accompanied by dancers, singers, and actors. The nations sent messengers just to have a look at the rich man, so that when they returned to their countries they could tell the people how the rich man lived and what he looked like. The rich man gave cattle, sheep, and clothes to the poor, so the people said that there was not a man in the world more generous than he, and added that he who had not seen the rich man of time had not lived. After many more years, a tribe was about to send a messenger to greet the rich man. Before the journey the men of the tribe said to the messengers, "Go to the country of the Time-Rich Man with the idea of seeing him, and when you come back, tell us whether he is as rich and generous as he is said to be." The messengers traveled for many days before they reached the country where the rich man lived. On the outskirts of the city they met a thin, ragged old man. The messenger asked, "Is there a time rich man here? If there is, will you please tell us where he lives?" The old man replied sadly, "There is. Time lives here; go into the city and the people will tell you." The messenger went into the city, greeted the citizens, and said, "We have come to see Time, and his fame has reached our tribe, and we are eager to see this marvelous man, and are ready to tell our countrymen when we return." Just as the messenger was saying this, an old beggar came slowly up to them. At that moment someone said, "He is the Time! It is the one you are looking for!" The messenger looked at the thin, old, ragged old beggar and couldn't believe his eyes. "Could this man be the legendary celebrity?" They asked. "Yes, I am Time, and I have now become unfortunate." The old man said, "I used to be the richest man, now I am the poorest man in the world." The messenger nodded and said, "Yes, life is often like that, but what do we say to our fellow man?" The old man thought for a moment and replied, "Go back to your homes, and when you see your countrymen, say to them, 'Remember that time is not what it used to be!'"

With a system of goals, you also need the skill of "time management" to prioritize all your goals and achieve them one by one as quickly as possible to improve the efficiency of your life.

One of the longest and shortest things in the world

This story is about time. Time is gone, whether you are happy or sad.

More than 2,000 years ago, Confucius looked at the river and sighed: "Time passes like a river, and does not give up day and night." (Time passes like this, day and night.) Shakespeare said: "The silent steps of time will not stop for a moment because we have many things to deal with."

Mr. Zhu Ziqing wrote in his famous essay "Haste", "When I wash my hands, the day passes through the water basin; when I eat, the day passes through the rice bowl; when I am silent, it passes through the staring eyes. When I perceive that he is gone in haste, and stretch out my hand to cover him, he passes by it; and when it is dark, and I am lying in bed, he passes over me with a swift movement, and flies away from my feet. When I opened my eyes to meet the sun again, it was another day that had slipped away. I hid my face and sighed. But the shadows of the new coming day began to flash again in the sigh."

Most amusingly, two French philosophers characterize time in a riddle. The philosopher Voltaire asked, "What in the world is the longest and yet the shortest; the fastest and yet the slowest; the most divisible and yet the most vast; the least valued and yet the most lamented; without which nothing can be accomplished; which brings to annihilation all that is small, and gives life to all that is great?" Chartiger the Wise answered, "There is nothing longer in the world than time, for it is endless; and there is nothing shorter, for all men's plans are too late to be accomplished; time is slowest in the eyes of those who wait, and fastest in the eyes of those who make merry; time may be extended to infinity, and divided into infinitesimals; at the time it is unappreciated, and afterwards it is deplored by all. attaches importance to it at the time, and who expresses regret for it afterward; nothing can be done without time; what is not worthy of remembrance by future generations, time washes away, while whatever is great, time solidifies and immortalizes." To gain time is to gain everything.

Two, count the value of your life and time - time leaves wisdom and strength for the diligent and emptiness and remorse for the lazy.

Kramer said, "Beware how you spend your time, for your whole future is to be lived inside it." Life is made up of the limited time we have on earth.

Life grows old. Life is bitterly short.

Chuang Tzu said, "Life between heaven and earth is like a white horse passing through a gap, suddenly." Poet Li Bai lamented, "I hate not being able to tie a long rope to this white day of westward flight." Wasting other people's time is tantamount to murder, wasting one's own time is tantamount to chronic self-braking. Chinese tradition says that less than 50 years old died at an early age, and said 60 years old for the flower armor, 70 years old for the old and thin, 80 to 90 years old for the oldest. Even with modern medical conditions, those who can live to a ripe old age are already very few. If converted into days, a person's life is about 30,000 days.

Please calculate: temporarily to 30,000 days (82.4 years), you have used how many days, how many days left? Fill in the calculations in the following table: year, month and day Signature: my life has been used up days my life is only days left Fill in the above table, please put the most direct first feelings, write down in simple language: what we have achieved, what we can still do ......

What was it like ten years ago, and what is it like now? How much has been accomplished and changed in the blink of an eye in ten years? "The flowers are similar every year, but the people are different every year" - "Don't wait to be white!" Covey once did a "shocking" experiment in a college classroom, in which students were asked to assume that they had only one semester left to live, and how to make the most of this last opportunity to learn.

After this introspection students made a number of new feelings and discoveries. Then they shortened the time to one week, reviewed themselves from this perspective, and wrote down their insights day by day. As a result, some began to write letters to their parents to express their love for them, while others made peace with their emotionally disturbed brothers and sisters, which was really thought-provoking.

We might as well do the above experiment ourselves, play it out in our minds, and see what we would think and do. What important things do you do? How do you organize your time to get the most done? This mental exercise can help you choose the most important things to do first.

The song of a bird that is about to die is mournful, and the words of a man that is about to die are kind - the soul's elegy for life reminds us: cherish time, ah, it's too late to say, and every second of life is disappearing. At the same time, time is money. This does not need more explanation, take a look at the following table, it will be clear.
