Learn boxing, okay?

Some advice from a boxing enthusiast to a friend who wants to learn boxing.

Talk about the introduction of boxing, including some things you should know.

First of all, the most important thing is not strength, not combination boxing, not pace coordination, not muscles.

According to our coach, this is something that can only be used in advanced classes.

The most basic thing is the framework.

A grass-roots player who can't even swing his boxing frame is a sandbag.

Actually, I think sandbags are the kind of players who can't walk well, like me.

As for the boxing frame, it's a watermelon. If you hit it, it is red.

I won't talk about the specific framework. Watching the video, the explanation will be more intuitive than my words.

It is not correct to practice strength and target shooting in a hurry after the posture is straightened.

First, do basic ligament training.

Waist, legs, shoulders, these must be trained to a certain degree of flexibility before the next step can be carried out.

The next step is the strength of the wrist. The strength of the wrist is enough, and it is not easy to cause dark injuries. My right hand is a dark wound left by lack of strength.

Then you can practice your strength.

Exerting force is the most basic and difficult. At first, many friends who practiced together were stuck in this step, and then they quit.

The trick of exerting strength is that there is no trick, so watch more and practice more.

If there is a coach, listen to the coach carefully and don't take the coach seriously.

Practice the posture of air shooting first, then go to the target, and take your time, from heavy to light.

It's boring to practice like this, but cows are often the most persistent people.

You can practice your footwork after getting started.

A very good boxer often has extremely flexible footwork, but personally, as an ordinary boxer, footwork is secondary. When I played games, it was a standard meat shield. I got up and changed a few punches to see who fell first, and the effect was not bad.

There is only one best way for a person to practice footwork, and that is skipping rope. Of course, it is perfect to have friends to help you practice moving targets.

At first, I insisted on jumping 1000 every day, thinking I was working hard. As a result, I didn't know the difference until I saw that all the boxers in our province jumped thousands.

Aggressiveness and endurance are enough, so you can choose to swing out and exert your strength. Lightweight ones should protect the head. If you get hit in the chin, that's bad.

If your 16 is above, don't consider taking a career ... if it's a hobby, you can do it casually, but if it's not over 60, going to the gym as soon as possible is not the same thing. Teaching is not the same as teaching yourself. But to be honest, there are very few gyms that are pure boxing, and there are very few that can make ends meet with boxing. As long as you are eager enough, work hard enough and believe in your dreams, everything is possible.

With a certain equal footwork foundation, you can start the combination boxing. What I want to declare here is that copying boxing is a unique skill in combination boxing, but it is only a variation of the position of straight boxing in different positions. These basic combination punches may not be so commonly used in actual combat, but they are very boxing.

Both sides punch at the same time, one side hits, and the other side dodges or blocks. The skill of flashing the opponent's attack and hitting the opponent is to copy the fist. In fact, it is to use the respective characteristics of the straight swing hook to suppress it. For example, when the opponent hits a combo of 13, he can directly hit the opponent's chin with his right straight fist, because the hitting distance of the straight fist is longer than that of the swing, so he can hit the opponent first. This is a fist-copying action in a broad sense.

In fact, copying boxing is often random, and it is only an advanced type of combination boxing that can be produced after the combination boxing and posture have been practiced to a certain extent. If two people are not very professional experts, in fact, as long as the punch strength and timing are accurate and the head and ribs are protected successfully, it is difficult to lose. Exert your strength, footwork (with your body), practice basic combination boxing, and you can try it when your forearm strength reaches a certain level and play a round. Diving and dodging mentioned here are two techniques that novices can't use indiscriminately. They are easily hit in the back of the head and then have a concussion. At the beginning of actual combat, many people felt that their firing rate could not be released at all. In fact, a large number of them are very nervous. My advice is to protect your head and ribs, and then, smoke hard. After doing this a few times, you will have confidence and play without a blank. At this time, you will start to think about your own technical actions, bring them into actual combat a little bit, and form a habit. Fight in actual combat, but you must pay attention to protecting yourself. Winning or losing is never the most important thing. We should live a better life than others.

Many friends say that muscle problems are unnecessary until the actual combat stage. Practice what you lack, and your muscles will not be burdensome. Of course, the lack of abdominal muscles and trapezius muscles directly affects the fighting resistance. It doesn't matter whether the pectoralis major is good or not. Anyway, the upper ribs are hard, and I have never been interrupted with my bare hands. But brothers who really want to pick up girls can practice, don't exaggerate and don't affect the flexibility of boxing. If you feel that your arms can't be lifted, practice biceps and deltoid muscles, but you can't bear too much weight. These two are endurance exercises. If you practice with heavy weights, others will think you are a wrestler. The latissimus dorsi affects the swing and hook to a great extent, and indirectly affects the receiving and unloading force, so if you want to improve the swing and hook strength, this can be considered emphatically. The waist is the transmission shaft, and the psoas muscles are also for endurance. You can't practice too much, otherwise it will directly affect the speed of punching. The most important things are thighs and calves. Thighs don't care about endurance. Practice hard. The heavier the better, the stronger the better. Thigh is the source of boxer's strength. You can often see this person's strength level by looking at his thighs. If you have calves, it is endurance training. Leg endurance directly affects gait. The thin calf shows that this person's feet are fast and it is difficult to seize the opportunity.

But the function of muscle training mentioned above is based on good hand-foot coordination and cardiopulmonary function. Therefore, long-distance running and skipping rope are the foundation of everything.

Boxing is practical because it is easy to learn and doesn't need much preparation in life, but once you learn the basics of boxing, its easy-to-learn part is over. The improvement of any kind of martial arts must rely on years of accumulation, and it is impossible to achieve it overnight. If you continue to learn boxing, you must go through actual combat, but no matter how you protect it, you will always get hurt in actual combat, and there are too many unknowns on the road, just for fitness and self-defense, so this investment is not very worthwhile. To tell the truth, every fighting skill has its shortcomings. Especially boxing, a martial art that forms sports, has more obvious disadvantages. No leg attack technique, no elbow and knee, no head bump, fall, cuddle. These are all to protect the safety of athletes. But when fighting in the street, it is acceptable except that the thrust kick is not very effective and is regarded as taboo by everyone. Therefore, if you learn boxing purely for fitness and self-defense, you can learn more other fighting skills. Big men can learn to wrestle, and they are powerful enough, so it is not easy to have big problems when they fall. Men of medium height, such as me, can learn some wrestling methods of Sanda, some of which are low-legged, fast-paced and easy to control. Little people can learn some knee and elbow skills of Muay Thai, which is very practical. These are purely personal hobbies, but I personally don't recommend some, such as Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo, such as Aikido. It's not that these martial arts are not good, but that they all have their own isolated systems, and they have to start again after learning them. When they succeed, the combination of the two is a headache.

It's enough to practice ligaments, leg press. Press your shoulders and rinse your waist. Just practice until you are a little looser and don't pull. It's nice to be able to split the waist fork, but we don't practice acrobatics, so there's no need to be too demanding. But if you want to improve, it is better to open it completely.

There is also a question about the hardness of the fist face. To tell the truth, except for a super heavy gun, it is the kind of madman who swings left better than me. I really haven't seen anyone who has worked particularly hard on this matter. The practice method is simple. The fist is propped up, the cushion is propped up, the book is propped up on the concrete floor, and you are successful, without feeling at all. But I really don't recommend practicing deliberately. I've never seen a novice who can hurt his face.

You go to watch the warm-up action of badminton introduction, I have been using that …

Mentality is the biggest and most important problem in learning boxing. Especially for self-study enthusiasts, mentality is more important. First of all, we should remember that we just choose a different way of exercise from others. Then, we rely on boxing to achieve sports, and at the same time stimulate other sports through boxing to maintain good physical and mental health. A boxer who has no desire to win is unqualified and can only fight, which is even more against one.

It is normal for bones to rattle and ligaments to ache slightly, because pulling ligaments is the process of tearing ligaments slightly. Once there is slight pain, the action of pulling the ligament will slow down. If the pain is severe or long, you can use the legendary baby seal. Muscle sustained-release agent with anti-inflammatory effect. I have seen many track and field teams use this as a slow release agent. However, there is a little dependence. Diclofenac diethylamine emulsifier, the scientific name is up. There's really no way.

If you are a girl, it is not recommended to practice boxing or anything. If you are older, you will kneel. If it is a man, what can I say? It depends on what you want to do. If you just exercise, then don't box. Meanwhile, all boxers should stop practicing. Play badminton, tennis, swimming and so on. If you really love this piece, for nothing else, the threshold for practicing boxing is very low, as long as there are many legs and fewer arms.
