On the differences between Chinese and foreign fables

Compared with Chinese and foreign fables, there is an obvious difference-foreign fables pay more attention to animal stories, while we in China tell people's stories more. Apart from drawing materials, there is another difference between them: foreign fables are rich in content and simple in meaning, while China's traditional fables are poor in content and shallow in meaning.

Chinese and foreign fables are based on different materials.

China's fables have basically evolved into idiom stories. For example, waiting for rabbits, learning to walk in Handan, helping seedlings to grow, walking far north, snakes and mussels fighting, helping cows, carving boats for swords, making up numbers, fake tigers, pot calling the kettle black, Ye Gong Long Hao, covering their ears.

Famous foreign fables include: in Aesop's Fables, crows drink water, turtles and rabbits race, wolves and lambs, farmers and snakes, foxes and grapes, and wolves come; Foxes and crows, wolves and lambs in krylov's fables.
