What's a good movie based on a game?

The XBOX 360 Gears of War is currently the most popular shooter in the world, and the Gears of War series has become another major signature of Microsoft after Halo. A few days ago, New Line Cinema has obtained the authorization of Microsoft and EPIC, and will start to plan the filming of the Gears of War movie version, and invited the famous screenwriter Stuart Beattie (Pirates of the Caribbean series of screenwriters) to write the script in person.
