What do you think of the employment and marital status of young people in China today?

1. The number of households continues to decrease.

Family size refers to the number of members in each family. Due to the implementation of the family planning policy and the strengthening of the family structure, the family size in China has obviously decreased since 1985. By 1997, the average family size in China dropped from 4.79 in 1985 to 3.64. In recent years, the number of small-scale families (1-3 people) in China has steadily increased, while the number of medium-scale families (more than 4 people) has basically decreased.

2. As the age of first marriage increases, the cost of marriage is rising.

The age of first marriage. Because relevant laws, policies and people's ideas are constantly changing, the age of first marriage in China fluctuates frequently. From 65438 to 0982, the average age of first marriage in China was 22.66 years, including 24.93 years in cities and 22.07 years in rural areas. From 65438 to 0990, the average age of first marriage in China dropped to 22.03. By 1996, the national average age of first marriage had risen to 24.02 years. In other words, the age of first marriage in China has been on the rise in recent years.

(2) The cost of marriage. In recent years, the rapid increase in the cost of marriage has become a headache for young people and their parents in China. 1At the beginning of 997, Zero Survey Company conducted a survey on the cost of marriage in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan and Guangzhou. In the early 1990s, the average cost of marriage for urban newlyweds was more than 20,000 yuan, four times the average level in the 1980s. However, unmarried people expect that the average cost of their marriage will exceed 30,000 yuan. It is estimated that the cost of marriage for young people in the 1990s will reach 5.5 times that of the 1980s. The survey also revealed the source of wedding expenses. 75% people said that their wedding expenses were "completely" or "mostly" earned by themselves, and 19% people said that "mostly" or "completely" was given by their parents. Compared with 1950s, the proportion of personal income in marriage expenditure increased by 40 percentage points in 1990s.

The divorce rate keeps rising.

The rising divorce rate in recent years has attracted many people's attention. From the early 1980s to the late 1990s, the divorce rate in China kept rising, reaching 1.997. In China, the crude divorce rate is 2.3 times that of 1982, and the divorce rate is 2.6 times that of 1982.

The number of remarried people has increased.

With the constant change of people's concept of marriage, the remarriage behavior of divorced and widowed people is more and more understood by society, and the psychological barriers from society, families and parties themselves are gradually narrowing, so the number of remarried people in China has gradually increased in recent years.

According to the statistics of civil affairs departments, only 500,000 people registered to remarry in China in 1985, and it increased to 788,000 in 1990, and reached 922,000 in 1997.

According to the sampling data of population changes in China from 65438 to 0996, the remarried population in China is nearly180,000, of which 47.66% are over 50 years old. 45.72% are people aged 30-49; The population under the age of 29 only accounts for 6.62%.

Transnational marriage has developed rapidly, and there are also many problems.

China's transnational marriage has its own unique characteristics: (1) develops rapidly. Since the early 1980s, the number of transnational marriages registered in China has increased almost year by year. 1982, the number of transnational marriages registered in China is 14 193 pairs; 1997 has reached 50773 pairs. (2) Wide geographical distribution. Cross-border marriages in China involve 53 countries and regions. In the past few years, the United States, Canada and Australia were the majority, but in recent years, East Asia is the majority, and East Asia is mostly Japan. (3) There are many overseas Chinese. Overseas Chinese and foreign Chinese have always accounted for a large proportion of transnational marriages, usually as high as 70%. (4) There are many marriages. In China, 90% of transnational marriages are between women from China and other countries. (5) The educational level is not high. Generally speaking, the culture of transnational marriage registered in China is low. Most people who marry the Japanese have low academic qualifications; In contrast, the cultural level of marriage with Europe and America is relatively high, including doctors, managers and presidents.

There are many problems in transnational marriage in China: (1) Marriage is not based on love.

(2) There are many "grandchild marriages" with great age differences. (3) There are some "lightning" marriages with short acquaintance time. (4) The phenomenon of cheating marriage by foreign men is serious. (5) The divorce rate of transnational marriage is high. In recent years, the growth rate of divorce is even higher than the marriage rate. From 1990 to 1995, the number of married people increased by 2.4 times and the number of divorced people increased by 2.8 times.

The ratio of divorce to marriage is 20% in 1990 and 26% in 1995.

6. The concept of marriage and family has changed greatly.

In recent years, the changes of China people's concept of marriage and family can basically be summarized as follows: the change from tradition to modernity; The transition from closed to open; The transition from monism to pluralism.

(1) Changes in the concept of mate selection. China people not only got rid of the routine of putting political standards first in the Cultural Revolution, but also played down political factors. Instead, take the other person's "character" as the primary criterion. Another change in the concept of mate selection is that "the economic component in mate selection increases and the intermediary factor of material increases". Today's mate selection standards can be said to be moral standards, economic standards and cultural standards. Different people have different choices, but one thing is certain. When many people choose a spouse, the importance of economic standards has far exceeded the cultural standards.

(2) The concept of family interpersonal relationship tends to be equal. In recent years, China people's concept of family equality has been rising, and many surveys have confirmed this change. The handling of family economic affairs and the distribution of family decision-making power can best reflect the status of husband and wife in the family and their attitude towards each other.

A survey of 620 young people in Anhui Province from 65438 to 0998 showed that 70% of young couples negotiated with each other on major expenses.

On the other hand, the property notarization before marriage shows the change of family interpersonal relationship. Although there are still many people who disapprove of premarital property notarization, a considerable number of young people have accepted this new concept. Especially in the case of great disparity in marital property, many people think this is a good choice.

(3) Diversified sexual concepts increase tolerance for sexual deviance. "Talking about color change"

History seems to be forgotten, and the change of China's concept of human nature is unprecedented.

A random sampling survey of 2,000 people conducted by the Institute of Sociology of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing from 65438 to 0995 found that 89.6% of them agreed that divorce was justified. Although most people still hold an exclusive attitude towards such issues as "cohabitation before marriage" and "cohabitation outside marriage", nearly one in six people openly express "approval", most of whom are young people.

7. The increase of marital problems

Influenced by various foreign family thoughts, due to the economic development and the increase of people's freedom of life, China's marriage and family problems have also begun to grow: unmarried cohabitation, unmarried pregnancy, extramarital love, extramarital cohabitation, bigamy and concubinage, domestic violence and so on. It has been rising in recent years. All kinds of bloody cases caused by extramarital affairs continue.

8. Social moral anomie has spread to families.

In the modern society where material desires and emotional desires cross-flow, those who can't stand all kinds of temptations and lose their basic reason and conscience will not be soft-hearted even in the face of their loved ones in order to satisfy their sinful desires.

Trend 1: Choosing a spouse pays more attention to the quality, feelings and feelings of both parties, hoping that the other party and himself belong to the same social class.

Trend 2: Change from "obligation" to "emotion", pay more attention to the pursuit of marriage quality, improve the ability of marriage adjustment, and make family life richer, fresher and happier.

Trend 3: The understanding of the nature of marriage is more and more sober and thorough, the sense of responsibility for marriage is more and more strengthened, the understanding of extramarital affairs is more and more rational, and the understanding and adjustment of self-psychology and behavior is more and more mature.

Trend 4: the family structure is miniaturized, and the family model in which two generations live together is the main one.

Trend 5: Women's quality is improving day by day, women's feminist consciousness is gradually awakening, women's initiative in the family is getting bigger and bigger, and the situation of equality between men and women is getting closer and closer to the ideal.

Trend 6: From the "parent-child" type to the "husband-wife" type, the functional demand for bearing and raising children is reduced, and the number of infertile people is increasing.

Trend 7: Xing's quality of life is increasingly demanding, and Xing's education and skills are more scientific and artistic.

Trend 8: The difference between husband and wife's family responsibilities is gradually decreasing, the family model in which the man is the master and the woman is the master is gradually weakening, the socialization of housework is increasingly strengthened, the types and functions of household appliances are gradually increasing, the intensity of housework is reduced, and the contradictions of housework are also reduced.

Trend 9: Family financial management will change from one-person financial management to AA system, taking turns to sit in the village, or other ways. The property will be notarized before marriage. After marriage, both husband and wife will open an account in the bank and conduct independent economic accounting. According to the marriage agreement, both husband and wife will bear their own economic obligations in family life.

Trend 10: The freedom of marriage increases, and the rational divorce increases. Trial divorce and agreement divorce become the first choice for rational divorce, and the divorce rate will rise. Employment of young people is a problem now. Many young people are a little too ambitious, some are not confident or have some abilities. It's a bit difficult to find a good job anyway. As for marriage, there are many people who marry early now. My personal opinion is that it is better to talk about marriage later, when I am mature and feel that I have the ability and courage to support a family.
