The Artistic Life of Ying Jozhi

Ying Jo-zhi was taught by Cao Daitie since he was a child, and his paintings have a clear and elegant style of the Jiangnan School of Painting, and he is known as the second-generation disciple of "Dafengtang". He has successfully held calligraphy and painting exhibitions in Beijing, Kunming, Hong Kong, the United States, the United Kingdom and other places to promote the Chinese culture and reputation at home and abroad.

Ying Jozhi is unique in landscape painting, brushwork figure painting, animal painting, etc., especially in the painting of cats, known as the "World Cat King", "Oriental Cat King".

His works have been published in People's Daily, Half-Moon Talk, China News, China Daily, Workers' Daily, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Popular Science and Technology Newspaper, Nanfang Daily, Yangcheng Evening News, Guangzhou Daily, Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper, Wen Wei Po, Ta Kung Pao, Macao Daily News, and Overseas Chinese Newspaper in the United States, European Times, Italian Xinhua Times, World Journal, World Celebrity Network, etc. all published the calligraphy and painting works of Mr. Ying Jo Chi. He has been collected by art museums and people with knowledge in the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Italy and other countries. The work "Double Cats" was exhibited in the Contemporary Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition in the U.S.A.; six pieces of painting and calligraphy works, including "Cat", were collected by the Central Museum of Literature and History; "Retrospective", was awarded the "Gold Medal of the World Art" (the highest art award) in the Third World Chinese Art Conference held in Hong Kong; dozens of works, including "Retrospective", were exhibited in the National Art Museum of China and received the domestic art museum and the domestic art museum collection.
