Is the copper foil production process suitable for the second-class industrial land?
Copper foil is a key conductive material in lithium ion batteries and printed circuit boards. Copper foil is a kind of negative electrode electrolytic material, which is a thin and continuous metal foil deposited on the circuit board substrate.
According to different methods, copper foil can be divided into many kinds. Copper foil can be divided into thick copper foil (more than 70μm), conventional copper foil (more than 18μm but less than 70μm), thin copper foil (more than 12μm but less than 18μm), ultra-thin copper foil (less than 12μm) and so on.
Copper foil preparation process flow
Preparation process of (1) calendered copper foil
Calendered copper foil is made by repeatedly rolling copper plate, annealing at a certain temperature and repeatedly pickling. Copper foil rolling process parameters are strictly controlled, which requires high equipment and process control. At present, it is mainly produced in Japan, and a small amount is used for lithium batteries.
(2) Preparation process of electrolytic copper foil
Electrolytic copper foil is made by dissolving copper into solution, electrodepositing copper sulfate electrolyte in a special dissolving container under the action of direct current to make the original foil, and then performing a series of surface treatments on the original foil as required, such as surface treatment, heat-resistant layer treatment, oxidation resistance treatment, etc.
Compared with calendered copper foil, electrolytic copper foil has relatively simple preparation, relatively simple equipment requirements and relatively low cost. Electrolytic copper foil is mostly used as the negative electrode substrate for copper foil for lithium ion batteries.
