There are many stories in Tiger Hill.

Looking at the scenery is like looking at people. Some people seem simple, but in fact they are implicit and meaningful. Such a person can bear to look at it, indicating that it takes a long time. Tiger Mountain is an interesting old friend.

This time last year, I went to Suzhou and Shanghai to play, and I heard Su Shi say, "It's a pity that Suzhou doesn't go to Tiger Hill." I went straight to Tiger Hill Scenic Area at the first stop.

Knowing that Tiger Hill is rich in humanistic connotation, I invited a tour guide. In the tour guide's explanation, the historical charm of Tiger Hill is like a picture scroll, which is unfolded for the second time.

Tiger hill is located in the northwest suburb of Suzhou, called mountain, but it is only 34.3 meters. There are many hills and lush trees, and its name alone has laid a heavy sense of history. According to Historical Records, during the Spring and Autumn Period, He Lv, the king of Wu, was accidentally injured in the battle with Li, the king of Yue, and died soon. His son buried him in the tiger hill a few days after his death. It is said that a white tiger squatted on the mountain three days after his burial, so he changed his original name to "Haiyong Mountain".

Tiger hill, one scene, broken beam hall, sword pool, thousand stones, students attending classes, cold spring, sword test stone ... a scenic spot, a period of history; A scenic spot and a story.

The most fascinating thing is the sword pool which was passed down as the tomb of He Lv, the prince of Wu.

Follow the guide to a round door that says "Don't have a hole in the sky". The four Chinese characters "Tiger Hill and Sword Pool" beside the round gate are extremely eye-catching, and the strokes of each character are as long as three feet, with vigorous brushwork. According to "Mountain Records" and other books, it was originally written by Yan Zhenqing, a great calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. Later, due to years, the stone surface was eroded by wind and frost, and the word "Tiger Hill" was lost. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, a famous Suzhou stone carver named Zhang Zhongyu carved it back into its original shape. Therefore, there is a saying in Suzhou that "a fake tiger hill is a real sword pool".

Through the round door, you can see a pool of clear water quietly sandwiched between two cliff walls, shaped like a sword, which is the sword pool. It is said that there were many swords of He Lv, the king of Wu, in the water in the sword pool at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period. He Lv's body and treasure were buried under the sword pool. Qin Shihuang, the overlord of Chu, and even Sun Quan of Soochow all came here to dig hard, but never came back.

But what attracts me most is not the existence of these treasures, but the lettering on the cliff. Carved on the stone wall are four characters of "Fenggu Yunquan", written by Mi Fei, one of the four great calligraphers in the Song Dynasty. There is the word "sword pool" on the left wall of the cliff, which was handed down by the great calligrapher Wang Xizhi.

Legend has it that one day, Wang Xizhi visited Tiger Hill and saw two geese, one black and one white, and he liked them very much. Then a mountain monk said to him, as long as you write the word "sword pool" for me, I will give you these two geese. Wang Xizhi is very happy. He picked up a pen and wrote these two words here. When he wanted to take the goose home, in a blink of an eye, the monk disappeared, and the two geese became Yi Long and crouched on the hill, but the word "sword pool" was engraved on this cliff forever.

Look at the word "sword pool" after hearing the legend. It's really two geese staring at the sword pool.

Crossing a mountain road, we came to a towering ancient pagoda named Yunyan Temple, with seven floors, eight sides and brick eaves. It is said that it has a history of thousands of years. The tour guide showed us that there were traces of construction on the seventh floor. It is said that from the Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, there were seven fires, and the tower eaves were damaged and repaired many times. The most amazing thing is that the tower is slightly tilted, but it has stood for thousands of years. No wonder it is called "the leaning tower of Pisa in the East"! In fact, this is because of the collapse of the foundation. Although the architect tried various methods, Tiger Mountain inevitably continued to tilt.

Millennium is a long history for us, but it is also a short flood in the long river of history. Yunyan Temple Tower stands silently, overlooking Tiger Hill and witnessing the changes of Suzhou City. Throughout the ages, countless tourists look up at the tower and see an oriental leaning tower, which is a thousand-year-old history.

Of course, this makes sense, and there is a wonderful legend about the leaning tower!

According to legend, the Monkey King made a scene in Heaven, went out of the worse gate and was about to return to Guo Hua. He was drunk, driving a cloud, chewing half a peach in his mouth and holding a pot of wine under his arm. I was having fun when I suddenly saw a pagoda floating in the distance. The Great Sage was so excited that he held a golden hoop pagoda in his hand. It's beautiful, such an exquisite tower. Take it back and put it on my Guo Hua Mountain.

When we reached the sky above Suzhou Tiger Hill, the Great Sage couldn't help looking down. Ah, this hill is beautiful, even more beautiful than my Guo Huashan. "wonderful! Wonderful! " The Great Sage was so happy and danced that he accidentally fell off the tower and landed on the top of the Tiger Hill. Unfortunately, it's not straight, it's a little crooked. Half a peach in the Great Sage's mouth fell and landed halfway up the Tiger Hill. The can of wine under his arm fell and broke open a "iron flower smoke" These three things are the slightly inclined tiger hill, half a peach and the rock spring of "Tiehuayan" that we see today. Since then, the scenery of Tiger Hill has become more beautiful and charming.

It's very interesting. There is a legend of Hanhan Spring.

Hanhan Spring is actually a stone well, surrounded by stone fences. A stone is inserted obliquely on the ground outside the stone fence and looks like a frog. There is a huge stone behind the Shijing, and the words "cold spring" are engraved on the stone.

According to legend, Master Han Han, a monk in the Liang Dynasty, was a water bearer in the temple. He has suffered from eye diseases since he was a child, but he has good ears and a good mind. Once he carried water through here and fell on the moss. He wondered if there was a spring under this place, so he dug up the ground to find it. When the villagers saw him fooling around, they all laughed at him and joked, "If I can dig out the spring water, I will become a big frog." The words sound just fell and a clear spring gushed from the ground and sprayed on the face of Master Han Han. Suddenly, he felt cool and his eyes saw the light again. At this time, Master Han Han found that the farmer really turned into a frog and stayed by the ancient well for a long time.

I think the story of Han Hanquan has been passed down to this day. First, its name is very meaningful. It is with his so-called "Han Han" thoughts and deeds that Master Han found water for people. This kind of stupidity is just a trace of kindness and persistence that people need. Secondly, frogs are used to warn people that any persistent good deeds should be respected. This may be the reason why the story of Hanquan is enduring!

There are eighteen scenes in Tiger Hill, and there are stories in the scene. In my opinion, it is like an old man who has experienced vicissitudes, silently telling history; Like a bridge, it spans the past and the present and introduces people into the past; It's like a treasure house, which contains the essence of many traditional cultures ... When we look at it with awe of history, it really deserves your historical wonders!

Limited to space, here are only two or three to share with the public. When you have a chance to go to Tiger Hill again, will it be your old friend?
