Significance of model specification parameter table of filter press
Various manufacturers have their own compilation methods for the model of belt filter press, but the belt filter press or technical parameters are mostly the same. Filter press is widely used in solid-liquid separation, sludge dewatering, wastewater filtration and other treatment projects, with thousands of models. Generally, the corresponding filter press is selected according to the requirements of materials, solid content and throughput. The model of filter press consists of letters and numbers, where letters represent different types and uses of filter press and numbers represent specifications and performance parameters of filter press.
X (am): X stands for box filter press, A stands for manual unloading, and M stands for mechanical compaction. Z 70 100030u: Z stands for automatic pressure maintaining filter press, 70 stands for filter plate size (length times width), 1000 stands for filter area of filter press, 30 stands for pressing force (kN), and u stands for ultra-high pressure cylinder pressing.
Composition of filter press
The structure of filter press consists of three parts, namely, frame, pressing mechanism and filtering mechanism. Manual compaction refers to the screw mechanical jack pushing the compaction plate to compact the filter plate. The filtering mechanism consists of a filter plate, a filter frame, a filter cloth and a diaphragm. Both sides of the filter plate are covered with filter cloth. When the diaphragm needs to be pressed, a group of filter plates consists of diaphragm plates and side plates. Both sides of the bottom plate of the diaphragm plate are covered with rubber diaphragm, the outer side of the diaphragm is covered with filter cloth, and the side plates are ordinary filter plates. The material enters each filter chamber from the time hole in the thrust plate.
Solid particles are trapped in the filter chamber because their particle size is larger than the pore size of the filter medium (filter cloth), and the filtrate flows out from the liquid outlet hole below the filter plate. When the filter cake needs to be squeezed dry, compressed air or steam can also be introduced from the washing port, and the air flow washes away the water in the filter cake to reduce the water content of the filter cake. Plate-and-frame filter press (plate-and-frame filter press) consists of a group of filter chambers with alternating filter plates and filter frames. There are grooves on the surface of the filter plate, and its protruding part is used to support the filter cloth.
There are through holes in the corners of the filter frame and the filter plate, which form a complete channel after assembly, and can be used for introducing suspension, washing water and extracting filtrate. Both sides of the plate and the frame are supported by handles on the cross beam, and the plate and the frame are pressed by pressing devices. The filter cloth between the plate and the frame plays the role of sealing gasket.
