Military Drum (English: snare drum): Striking membrane sound percussion instrument. By the metal frame and both ends covered with plastic or leather made of the face of the drum. Widely used in symphony bands, marching bands and jazz bands. There are many different models of drums, with different diameters and depths.

The top of the striking side of the drum is called the striking membrane, and the bottom is made up of the strings (strings made of sheep's intestine, nylon, or steel wire) that are stretched over the leather surface, called the striking surface. When the drum surface is struck, the strings on the rattling surface undergo **** vibration, producing a grating sound. The sound quality can be changed by loosening the strings to give the drum a low, dark sound or by placing a piece of cloth on the striking surface to produce a weak sound effect. It is played with two drumsticks made of wood, plywood or metal. Special effects obtained by the drumsticks are rolls, fast ornamentation sounds, etc. Mostly used in marching bands or at mega-festival celebrations.
