Aerobic composting. Livestock and poultry manure contains a large amount of organic matter and rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other nutrients, is a valuable resource for the sustainable development of agriculture, so the manure aerobic composting is currently widely used treatment. According to the characteristics of manure raw materials and auxiliary materials, according to the carbon and nitrogen ratio and moisture content required for composting, the manure and auxiliary materials are mixed in a certain proportion, and the oxygen and temperature in the heap are appropriately controlled, so as to make the manure ferment rapidly to produce organic fertilizer. Biogas fermentation. According to the high content of organic matter in livestock and poultry manure, under certain moisture, temperature (35 ℃ ~ 55 ℃) and anaerobic conditions, through the decomposition and metabolism of various types of microorganisms, and ultimately the formation of methane and carbon dioxide and other combustible gas mixture (biogas), and at the same time to kill the fecal water E. coli bacteria, helminths eggs and so on. Biogas is a clean energy, can be used as fuel for family life, a large number of biogas farms can also be used for power generation and grid; biogas residue methane contains nitrogen, phosphorus and other components, can be used as fertilizer for agricultural production, can also be used for fish farming, crop dipping, etc., biogas fermentation is one of China's current wider use of fecal waste treatment methods.

Feed utilization. Research has proved that livestock and poultry manure contains a large number of undigested crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat and minerals, etc., of which the composition of amino acids is also more complete, the content is also rich, after processing, can kill pathogenic bacteria, improve protein digestibility and metabolism, improve palatability, and can become a better feed resource.
