Drama/opera review

The play creatively combines architecture and culture, constructs a dream picture and observes reality. The lens of the play focuses on the construction industry in the Republic of China, which was rarely paid attention to before. In the bidding of Wuxi Friendship Hall, Fu combined the modern architectural concept with the traditional culture of China, and added China traditional characteristic elements such as "Fang Sheng" and "Ruyi" to the modern design, realizing the perfect dialogue between modernity and tradition. The drama vividly presents the topic of cultural inheritance and innovation in the field of architecture on the screen.

The debate between Fu and Du Shaogan about Chinese and Western architecture made the audience see the collision of views in the field of architecture, and also made the audience think about the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture. As the saying goes, "artisans of that era will inspire the inheritance of modern culture."
