The meaning of PS color halftone

Color halftone is PS effect and belongs to "pixelation". The two diagrams made with this effect are bitmaps.

Color halftone simulates the effect of using an enlarged halftone screen on each channel of an image. For each channel, the filter divides the image into rectangles and replaces each rectangle with a circle. The size of the circle is proportional to the brightness of the rectangle.
