Everyone's aesthetic standards are different. Personally, I think China's classical music is easier to understand than western classical music.

People who may like western classical music always feel that their level is much higher than others. It is not that they can understand western classical music with certain knowledge and accomplishment, because the regional differences are still great.

Western classical music, even in Europe and America, belongs to the leisure activities of the urban leisure class, while most western countries are developed countries, and 99% of the people can be included in this class. Therefore, the vast majority of citizens in the west are naturally lovers of this kind of music. In China, which is originally a country of farmers, the leisure class among urban people is rare. Even in recent years, it seems that some people can barely rank in this class, but they are still nouveau riche among ordinary citizens because their knowledge level is out of proportion to their economic level.

These people can spend thousands of dollars to listen to duets instead of symphonies because they can't understand them. Today, a lot of classical music has not been accepted by the public, but an act that exists among a few people. As an uneducated person, my favorite classical music should be China's guzheng, and the pipa. Although I don't understand it, that kind of music is beautiful and can bring people into that realm. I think this is the charm of Chinese classical music.

I even feel a little idolized for those who like western classical music. Maybe my idea is a little extreme, but it does give me a feeling. Perhaps, as an old saying goes, foreign monks like to recite scriptures.
