Engineering Index (EI) Included Journals

The official website of Engineering Index (EI) of the United States announced the latest list of database source journals. The journals China Tobacco Journal and Tobacco Science and Technology, which are organized by China Tobacco Society and Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute respectively, have become EI-indexed journals again after becoming EI source journals for the first time in 2013.

The fact that the two journals continue to maintain EI inclusion signifies the continuous improvement of the academic level, editorial quality and international influence of the two journals, as well as the rapid development of the overall scientific research level and independent innovation capability of China's tobacco industry. This is not only the affirmation of the two journals, but also the recognition of the academic and technical level of the majority of tobacco science and technology workers in China's tobacco industry.

EI is a large-scale retrieval system that mainly collects engineering and technology journal literature and conference literature, and is listed as one of the three most famous international databases together with Science Citation Index (SCI) and Index to Scientific and Technical Proceedings (ISTP).In 2014, EI collected 3,718 journals globally***, of which 209 journals were published in mainland China.
