But her family doesn't support her to study this major, mainly because they think it is no different from being a nanny in the future. Studying in college really feels bad and unseemly.

The second reason is that domestic economics majors learn many and miscellaneous things.

In fact, there are many things that domestic economics majors learn, and they can learn to cook. My friend eats a big meal every week. Because they have cooking classes every week, and then there are tea classes, flower arranging classes and so on. If you want to cultivate your sentiment, you can't go wrong in choosing a home economics major. But many people feel that they don't know what they have learned after studying for four years. They know a little about many things, but they don't have proficient courses. Unlike my major in accounting, I am sure to get a job after graduation with an accounting certificate, and that is accounting. One of the reasons is that you learn a lot, but you are not proficient in what you have learned.

The third reason is that domestic professional employment is difficult.

Employment of domestic economics major is a big problem. Generally, undergraduates learn some basic skills, such as flower arrangement, tea art and cooking. The general job of recruiting home economics majors is to do these miscellaneous things, which is very hard.
