Measuring method and steps of leakage protector tester?

Leakage protector is a technical protection measure to prevent electrical fire and electrical equipment damage caused by leakage. According to "SJ-255- 10300 China People's Electronic Industry Standard", the hand-held NC360 leakage protector tester is specially used to test the leakage action current, leakage non-action current and leakage action time of the leakage protector. NC360 leakage protector tester can be used to test single-phase and three-phase leakage protectors. Manual quick switching with 10 gear is adopted, the leakage range is 0-500mA, and the leakage action time is 0-799ms. Testing steps of NC360 leakage protector tester:

Disassemble the load lead of the measured leakage protector to prevent damage to the load side appliances.

1. Press the red button on the upper right of "On/Off" to turn on the power of the leakage protector tester. The red indicator light on the upper left 15mA is on, and the LCD screen directly above shows manual 000ms (note: manual = manual).

2. Check the rating on the nameplate of the leakage switch of the indoor single-phase two-wire leakage protector (rated action current =30mA, rated non-action current = 15mA, breaking time ≤0. 1S (i.e. ≤ 100mS).

3. Press the "Shift" button, the left vertical row of 10 red indicator lights will light up circularly from top to bottom, and then switch to the 30mA gear as mentioned above, that is, the corresponding red light flashes.

4. Insert the red plug of the test meter stick into the red seat of the "test wire" and the black plug into the black seat of the "ground wire". At the other end of the black plug wire, there is a black alligator clip which is clamped on the grounding post next to the leakage protector to be tested.

5. Contact the probe at the other end of the red plug of the test meter bar with the live wire (220V) corresponding to the lower pile head of the leakage protector. At this time, the normal leakage protector will trip and break, and the LCD screen directly above will display "Manual xxxms (Note: Manual = Manual, xxx is the breaking time value of the leakage protector to be tested). If it has not tripped, the LCD screen will display "Manual Fault (Fault =".

6. Check whether the measured data meets the value specified on the nameplate.

7. Press the "Reset" green button, the instrument data will return to zero, and enter the original state of startup to prepare for the next test. If continuous testing is required, repeat the above item 1-7.
