Looking for the role of Chinese nursery rhymes teaching in primary schools
Abstract: Children's songs have the characteristics of concise language, easy to understand, catchy and easy to remember, so they are deeply loved by children. This paper discusses the role of nursery rhymes in junior middle school Chinese teaching from three aspects: standardizing words and deeds, organizing teaching, imparting Chinese knowledge and emotional education.
The first-grade children who have just entered primary school are as pure as a blank sheet of paper, waiting for the teacher to doodle and paint, so the teaching in the lower grades is particularly artistic. They have the shortcomings of short attention span, lack of purpose in behavior and low logical thinking ability. At the same time, they also have the advantages of strong curiosity, like games, and good at mechanical memory. Children's songs are characterized by concise language, easy to understand, catchy and easy to remember, so they are deeply loved by children. In the years of Chinese teaching in the lower grades of primary school, I found that children's songs have many wonderful uses, which greatly improved the efficiency and effect of my classroom teaching. Now I will summarize them as follows, hoping to help everyone:
First, use nursery rhymes to standardize words and deeds and organize teaching.
Children who have just entered school have almost no sense of discipline in school and classroom, so it is also the biggest headache for first-grade teachers at the beginning of each school year. Especially in rural areas, most of them are left-behind children, and some have never even attended kindergarten. With the doting of grandparents, children have developed a bad habit of being self-centered. At this time, if the teacher forcibly corrects it, the effect may be just the opposite. If children's songs are used and the teacher demonstrates them personally, the students will be happy to accept them and be impressed. [ 1]
For example, some students, when the bell rings, other students rush into the classroom, but they don't care, waiting for the teacher to come to class late; Others look around in class, or lie prone or stand, play with a pen, and so on, which makes the teacher laugh and cry. In view of this situation, I deliberately took time out to let them learn nursery rhymes: when the bell rings, hurry into the classroom. Stand up straight, sit up straight, and don't sway. Don't fidget, just listen. Raise your hand first and answer loudly.
When reminding students to standardize their writing posture, I will use nursery rhymes: children love reading, and their reading posture should be: straight body, straight head, flat shoulders and eyes one foot away from the book. Writing posture should be correct, the body should sit flat on the book, one inch, one foot and one punch, learn knowledge and be healthy. [2]
Under the teacher's demonstration, a group of chattering "little sparrows" gradually entered the state and had rules to follow. If anyone violates it, I'll let him recite it to his face Over time, children's songs are familiar to the heart, students' words and deeds are standardized, and the efficiency and effect of classroom teaching are greatly improved.
In classroom teaching, I usually use nursery rhymes to ask and answer questions. For example, the teacher: "Please do this with me. Student: I will do it with you. " Teacher: "Students, let me ask you, what should I do in class?" Student: "Sit up straight, keep your feet flat and watch the teacher obey the discipline." When urging students to act faster, I will say, "Where is the first first?" "The students are scrambling:" The first one has arrived! "When I remind students to look at the blackboard, I will say," Who has the brightest eyes? ""The students all said, "My eyes are the brightest! "When praising a student, I will let everyone participate:" xxx, you are great, we applaud you! " "The beauty of these children's songs is to adjust the classroom atmosphere and make children more active, thus improving students' classroom participation.
Second, using children's songs to teach Chinese knowledge.
1. Pinyin teaching
According to the characteristics of children's thinking in images, I analyzed the shapes and pronunciations of Chinese phonetic alphabet, and selected some children's songs that are easy to understand and remember by association methods, such as "aaa opens its mouth, ooo opens its mouth, eee opens its mouth, uuu opens a crow, a fish bubbles" and "Listening to the radio bbb, ppp opens a child to splash water".
Tone is more difficult for students to master. In order to help them distinguish and remember, I teach children's songs: "One tone is flat, two tones climb up, three tones turn a corner, and four tones roll down".
When teaching the letter "I", use the children's song "I am polite, take off my hat when I adjust it". When teaching the spelling of jqx and U, ü, I taught everyone: "Little ü is polite. Take off your hat and salute when you see jqx. You are a naughty boy. As soon as he heard jqx, he immediately dodged. " [3]
Compared with boring letter teaching, catchy children's songs are much more interesting for children. Some students will mumble something after class and recite it to their parents at home. When they were young, learning Chinese was full of innocence and fun.
Step 2 teach new words
The New Curriculum Standard sets the following goals for the first stage: I like learning Chinese characters and have the desire to read actively; Know 1600 commonly used Chinese characters, of which about 800 can write. [4] Teachers who teach lower grades know that it is not easy to do these two things. Literacy and writing can be said to be the most important doors to the temple of knowledge. It is difficult to get through this door by brute force. Children's songs can act as lubricants to help children open the door quickly. You can recite and rewrite children's songs in textbooks, learn from previous children's songs, and create new children's songs with teachers and students. Let students master new words in relaxed and lively recitation and experience the beauty of rhythm at the same time. For example, in order to distinguish some babies who look alike, I often use this nursery rhyme: "How nice it is to have hands hanging on the wall, mouths, water reading ravines, girls making dolls, people who study well and frogs croaking." [5] For more complicated new words, I will use nursery rhymes to guide my writing, such as "climbing". I instructed you like this: "Wood by wood, fork by fork, sit at the door and grab the ground with both hands." "Da" can mean "Dad", "Aunt" and "Uncle" in Anqing dialect.
3. Reading and writing teaching
Through practice, it is not difficult to find that "singing" is more attractive than "reading" for students in lower grades of primary school. Children's songs are simple and vivid, with beautiful rhythm. Students can easily enter the state while singing, give full play to their imagination and experience the beauty of language, thus cultivating a sense of language and accumulating words and sentences. Children's songs can also be used to summarize texts and deepen students' impressions. For example, the lesson "crow drinks water": a crow is thirsty and looks for water everywhere; Finally found a bottle, there is not much water. The mouth is too short and the bottle is too high. Without thinking, there is water and a pile of pebbles next to the bottle, and the crow is happy; When you put it in a bottle, the water rises and you drink it. In fact, everything is the same, ostensibly a lock; Always use your head and think about it, and your troubles will be alleviated.
In junior high school Chinese textbooks, many texts are beautiful nursery rhymes. Helping students collect a large number of nursery rhymes and putting them in an environment with nursery rhymes everywhere is of great benefit to cultivating students' Chinese appreciation ability and laying a good writing foundation.
In teaching, children's songs can also be used to create various forms and train students' ability to choose words and make sentences. I often ask students to do some exercises of choosing words to fill in the blanks, imitating examples and writing children's songs freely. Students are very interested. For example, let students imitate children's songs: two puppies, two good friends, go for a spring outing with an umbrella on rainy days. At the same time, the following words are needed: horse, position and pile. Students imitate: five little black horses, one is a mother, eating a pile of grass together, and their hooves clatter. Students not only mastered the three quantifiers, but also mobilized their thinking and imagination, thus achieving the purpose of preliminary training in writing.
Third, the use of children's songs for emotional education
With the help of the atmosphere created by the activity of "reading traditional cultural classics" in the central school, as a junior high school Chinese teacher, I use nursery rhymes to teach students to recite Disciples Rules. The whole article of Disciple Rules begins with a general narrative, and then it is divided into seven parts: filial piety in time, filial piety in time, honesty, faithfulness, universal love, kindness and spare no effort to learn literature. In teaching, I try not to let students "swallow dates" and understand the meaning of every sentence. After a semester's study, students can not only recite nursery rhymes skillfully, but also improve their manners greatly. The pieces of paper in the classroom have disappeared, and the contradictions and frictions between students have also decreased. Parents responded that their children became polite when they came home.
Besides reading classics, I also use children's songs for emotional education at any time. For example, after teaching "Little Tadpole Looking for Mom", I will write children's songs with my children: Little Tadpole, love mom, and mom works hard to raise her. Students, love my mother, my mother is very kind to me. Mom loves me. I love her. Speak politely. Everyone praised me as a good doll. It expands the teaching content, sublimates students' emotions, and students are closer to the door of good morality.
"Sneak into the night with the wind, moisten things silently", a small children's song, with endless charm. As long as we combine the characteristics of Chinese teaching, get familiar with the psychology of junior students and introduce and use nursery rhymes properly and effectively, it can not only be a "magic weapon" for teachers to organize teaching, but also a "sharp weapon" for students to learn knowledge. It can not only cultivate students' sentiment, but also become the driving force for teachers' innovation. I will continue to use nursery rhymes, give full play to the role of nursery rhymes, and let the children in lower grades continue their relaxed and happy childhood in my classroom, and firmly grasp new knowledge in a happy environment.
Teaching Chinese Children's Songs Writing in Primary Schools
The teaching of children's songs writing in lower grades is a virgin land. As long as we cherish childlike innocence, the teaching content, teaching design and teaching methods conform to students' age characteristics and psychological characteristics, and activate their interest in writing, this fertile soil will have colorful gains. How to develop this familiar and unfamiliar virgin land?

Children's songs are the first literary style that people come into contact with in their lives. Children begin to listen to and say nursery rhymes when they are babbling. In kindergarten, they achieve the goal of speaking, singing, reading and performing nursery rhymes. In the lower grades of primary school, people often hear the sound of children's songs. As childhood goes away, the sound of children's songs becomes less and less, and they have new pursuits. When people grow up, few people will forget the childhood accompanied by nursery rhymes, and will gradually understand the role of nursery rhymes in enlightening wisdom, enhancing understanding, cultivating sentiment and laying the foundation of Chinese literacy. Therefore, nursery rhymes are used to enlighten children ... nursery rhymes have always been regarded as treasures of enlightenment education because of their rich and colorful content, short and pithy form and catchy rhythm.
The definition of nursery rhymes in Modern Chinese Dictionary is: ballads created for children and suitable for children to sing. From this definition, it seems that the creator is not a child, and it is doubtful that children create children's songs. Students in the lower grades of primary school have accumulated rich nursery rhymes. From the point of view of "knowing 300 Tang poems by heart, even if you can't write them, you can recite them", many children have the ability to write nursery rhymes. From the reality of children's songs creation, there are many excellent works created by children; Judging from our teaching practice, as long as the teaching content, teaching design and teaching methods are in line with students' age and psychological characteristics and can stimulate their interest in writing, most students can write decent nursery rhymes, and some students can write catchy nursery rhymes. Although children's literary literacy and creative level are not as good as those of adults, they are still childlike, and they are the country of children's songs. Children's songs written by childlike innocence are definitely different from those written by adults. Although children's songs are not refined enough and lack some charm, we can see a beating childlike innocence from them, and the world of children's songs displayed by childlike innocence is really wonderful. Let children write what they are most interested in and express their feelings in the form they are most familiar with, which is in line with the general principles of creation.
Using nursery rhymes or texts in textbooks to develop students' language intelligence.
A large number of lively and interesting children's songs and catchy texts are arranged in the first volume of Senior One. Sometimes after learning children's songs or texts, I will guide students to create and edit. For example, after learning the rhyme "In the Garden", students are guided to imitate the rhyme of children's songs. The children's enthusiasm is very high, and they also made up a song:
Caiyuanli
The garlic table is green, thin and long.
Eggplant is dressed in purple.
Persimmons are as tall as lanterns.
Potatoes are playing hide-and-seek underground.
Cabbage doll sitting on the ground,
The older the cucumber, the yellower the skin.
Red, green, yellow and purple are really beautiful.
The vegetable garden is a beautiful scenery.
For children who have just entered school, this creative process not only develops their language intelligence, but also inspires them and stimulates their creative desire, which lays the foundation for future writing.
