V. In the middle of the school emblem is the English abbreviation "HY", which has three meanings:

2. "H" is the initial capital of "He" in the Chinese phonetic alphabet "Hebei", "Y" is the 2.“H letter in the international lingua franca English, and the homonym is "wai" in the foreign language. It means "the combination of Chinese and Western", which means that the college will insist that students should not forget to use the improvement of their mother tongue to break through the bottleneck of improving their foreign language level while learning a foreign language, and consciously and actively draw nutrition from the profound China culture.

3. "H" and "Y" take the initials of the pinyin "Hai" and "Yi" in the Chinese translation of Hai. Colleges and universities are the cradle of foreign language translators, which will train a large number of outstanding translators for the country and society.

6. The two wavy lines below "HY" in the middle of the scale have six meanings:
