What do you mean by the advantages of optical fiber wiring?

Optical fiber cabling is a local area network construction method using optical fiber as transmission medium. Compared with the traditional copper cable wiring method, it has the following advantages.

First of all, the transmission speed of optical fiber wiring is fast. Because optical fiber is an optical signal transmission, the transmission speed is much faster than copper cable. In today's high-speed network, the demand for network transmission speed is getting higher and higher, and optical fiber wiring is a good choice to meet this demand.

Secondly, optical fiber wiring has a long transmission distance. The transmission distance of optical fiber is longer than that of copper cable, and the transmission speed will not be reduced because of the long distance. This is one of the reasons why optical fiber cabling is widely used in large enterprises, institutions, schools and other places that need long-distance transmission.

Optical fiber wiring has good anti-interference performance. In some strong electromagnetic interference environment, copper cable is easy to deform, which affects signal transmission, while optical fiber wiring is not affected by electromagnetic interference. Therefore, in places with strong magnetic interference, such as computer rooms and other environments, it is more appropriate to use optical fiber wiring for LAN construction.
