Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 In order to strengthen the children and youth sports schools (hereinafter referred to as sports schools) management, and promote the sports schools to fully implement the national sports, education policy, improve the quality and effectiveness of schooling, to adapt to the needs of the development of China's sports industry, the formulation of these measures. Article 2 Sports school refers to the nine-year compulsory education stage to cultivate children and youth sports special sports skills of sports schools. Article 4 Sports schools must adhere to the four basic principles, and implement the national sports and education policies. Chapter IV Ideological and cultural education Article 16 The ideological and moral education work of sports schools must adhere to Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory as a guide; the content of the education of sports schools should follow the formation of children's and young people's ideological and moral laws and the requirements of social development, from the work of the sports school and the actual situation of children and young people. Article 17 The sports schools shall strengthen the education of the basic line of the Party, patriotism, collectivism, socialism, ideological and moral education, education of the fine traditions of the Chinese nation, education of civilized behavior, education of the rule of law, education of the spirit of Chinese sports and sports ethics education. Article 18 The sports school shall ensure that students complete the nine-year compulsory education program.

Sports schools attached to ordinary schools for cultural learning, should be attached to the school shall sign a joint school agreement, clear rights and obligations of both parties.

The teaching implementation plan formulated by the sports school must be reported to the competent sports and education administrative departments for approval. Article 23 The sports schools shall adhere to the principle of diversified forms and nearby competitions, and promote the popularization and improvement of sports training for children and young people through competitions. Article 24 The students of the gymnasium can represent the gymnasium and the original delivery school to participate in sports competitions organized by the sports and education administrative departments at the higher level.

Disputes over the eligibility of student competition representatives shall be resolved through negotiation between the competent sports and education administrative departments in accordance with the relevant provisions of the national sports competitions.
