Crop varieties native to China
The varieties of crops originating in China are soybean, millet, rice, Chinese cabbage, mushroom, kiwi fruit, jujube and so on. Soybean, native to China, is one of the important food crops in China. It has a cultivation history of 5000 years and was called Zizania latifolia in ancient times. Millet originated from the Yellow River valley in China, and was the main food crop in ancient China, with many colors such as white, red, yellow, black, orange and purple.
