Under the current medical policy and medical environment, how to inherit and develop Chinese medicine and improve its quality? How to choose Chinese medicine for patients' first visit?
The ancients said that doctors are not sick, Chinese medicine is eager to get sick, and doctors are sick; In other words, Chinese medicine pays attention to health care, which is unmatched by all kinds of medicine in the world. According to Huangdi Neijing, ancient medicine is divided into differentiation, acupuncture, moxibustion, medicine and shiatsu. It can be seen that Chinese medicine not only uses drugs, but also uses various non-drug therapies such as acupuncture, moxibustion, massage, cupping and scraping, which are rare in all kinds of medicine in the world. Traditional Chinese medicine pays attention to the unity of man and nature, and prepares for the next year's medication through the prediction of five movements and six qi, which is unique. Traditional Chinese medicine pays attention to holism, and treats it based on syndrome differentiation by seeing, listening and asking questions. These are the two essences of traditional Chinese medicine, which surpass the reductionism and disease differentiation theory of western medicine. The above characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine have basically been abandoned by scientism.
According to statistics, in the early Republic of China, there were 800,000 Chinese medicine practitioners in China; 65438+500,000 in 0949; At present, there are 270,000 people, and according to our investigation and estimation of some local and county-level Chinese medicine hospitals, only 10% Chinese medicine practitioners prescribe decoction. In other words, only 30,000 people can really see a doctor with the concept of Chinese medicine, and other Chinese medicine practitioners need to further study or review the Four Books and Five Classics. During this period, the population of China increased from 400 million to 65.438+0.3 billion today, while the number of Chinese medicine practitioners decreased from 800,000 to 30,000.
The development of traditional Chinese medicine has entered a misunderstanding. The reason why Chinese medicine has entered the misunderstanding is that in the past hundred years, we have almost completely accepted western culture and considered Chinese medicine "unscientific".
What is important now is to get out of the misunderstanding, revive Chinese culture and recast the soul of Chinese medicine, so as to truly solve the health of 654.38+0.3 billion people, especially 900 million farmers, and truly build a harmonious socialist society. In a sense, this is a war without smoke, a war to revive Chinese culture and oppose imperialist cultural aggression.
Fortunately, on June 165438+ 10 19, 2005, the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine was officially renamed as China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, ending the century-old debate on whether Chinese medicine is scientific or not. Since then, Chinese medicine has been on an equal footing with western medicine in national policy, and it is no longer inferior. But this is by no means to say that Chinese medicine has been truly recognized as a science by people inside and outside the industry. There is still a long way to go to get rid of the misunderstanding of Chinese medicine over the past 100 years and the impact it has brought.
First, the biggest mistake in the past century was the educational mistake.
China's biggest mistake in the last hundred years is the educational mistake. This is not only a mistake of moral education, but also a mistake of cultural education in China. In other words, China's education lacks its own cultural content, and many of our descendants learn western culture, which makes our children forget China's culture and roots and gradually accept western culture in an all-round way. Therefore, many people don't know much about the "harmonious culture" left by their ancestors, and don't believe that Chinese medicine, which represents the future medical direction, regards Chinese medicine not only as mature theoretical medicine, but also as dross, "pseudoscience" and "anti-science". Until today, it still advocates that Chinese medicine should "get rid of the rough and get the essence" and "get rid of the dross and get the essence".
(1) The failure of the Opium War made many people lose their national self-confidence.
We lost the Opium War. Many people in China, while praising others, lamented their poverty, poor weapons and even cultural backwardness. As a result, the Westernization School appeared, and the introduction of western learning to the east appeared, which completely denied the May 4th Movement of its own culture and Mr. Desai's strong demand to come in.
Why did we fail? Is it really because we are too poor? Because our weapons are not as good as people? Are we culturally backward? Don't! At that time, China was not too poor. 1600 for more than 600 years, China's GDP has been more than 30% of the world. During the Tang Dynasty, it accounted for 70%, and during the Opium War, China's GDP still accounted for nearly one third of the world. The failure of the Opium War was entirely due to the corruption of the Qing government. At that time, we were indeed inferior to humans in modern natural science and weapons, but this was not the main reason for our failure. The reason is capitulationism and nonresistance in corrupt governments. In War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, our weapons are inferior to those of the people. After eight years in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, we defeated the Japanese, and we won. What's more, our culture is backward. Historically, the Central Plains of China was often invaded by northern nomads, so the Great Wall of Wan Li had to be built. As we all know, thousands of years ago, the Central Plains was a mature agricultural society. Although it was occupied and destroyed by the nomadic society in the north, it does not mean that the nomadic culture is advanced. In fact, China culture is far superior to nomadic culture, so nomadic people are gradually assimilated by China culture and become a member of the Chinese nation. However, many sages denied our culture, classical Chinese, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism and the contention of a hundred schools of thought because of the failure of the Opium War. We can't say everything is good, but we must never sell ourselves short and completely deny our own culture. China's philosophy is different from western philosophy, but no less than western philosophy. Traditional Chinese medicine culture is the main carrier of China culture, which is not backward, far superior to western medicine, and represents the direction of future medical development. At the beginning of the 20th century, Western medicine was far from developed and its level was pitifully low. However, many people began to deny Chinese medicine without knowing what it is. People like Yu Yunxiu are not the only ones who are against Chinese medicine. Even some famous people of insight think that TCM is unscientific and should be thrown into the wastebasket. Of course, we don't want to deny these pioneers and sages, and we can't be rude to them, let alone afterwards. Their thoughts had a background at that time, and if we were born at that time, we would certainly agree with them.
(2) The spread of western learning to the east has completely westernized China education.
Overthrew the Qing Dynasty and established the Republic of China, but national self-confidence was not fully established. 19 14 The Ministry of Education issued a document to encourage western learning to run schools, but Chinese medicine is forbidden to run schools. Wang Daxie, director of education, said: "I am determined to abolish Chinese medicine in the future." Therefore, western learning flourished in China and spread all over the country, which damaged the traditional private school education in China. By 1949, there are almost no private schools. In 2000, after the death of the last private school teacher in Hunan, there was no private school in China. It is worth mentioning that, according to CCTV reports, students in this private school never cheat or play tricks, no matter what they go out to work or do. Many people are promoted to leadership positions because of their brains and morality, even without diplomas; Therefore, the traditional private school education in China has its positive side to modern society. Our school today is not only western in form, but also western in everything from primary school to university except incomplete Chinese characters. Even the melody and physical beauty are western: our five-tone notation of "Gong Shang Jiao Zheng Yu" is equivalent to or even slightly higher than the western staff, but no one teaches it, and few people inherit the guqin guzheng suitable for health preservation; Our health-keeping activities, such as Wuqinxi, Baduanjin and Tai Ji Chuan, are not included in formal teaching, but are strongly advocated by western competitive sports and fitness sports. As a result, these athletes are all injured; The Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival is several meters long, and the characters are about the same size, while the school painting class only teaches western perspective painting.
In particular, school education places too much emphasis on English! As we all know, the first thing after Japan occupied Northeast China was to force primary and secondary school students to learn Japanese. So far, the old people in the northeast can speak a few words of Japanese. After Germany occupied France, the first thing was to force French students to learn German, so the French novelist Dodd wrote the world-famous patriotic novel The Last Lesson. Today, imperialism is not forcing our children to learn English with guns, but we are forcing them to learn English ourselves, and we have formulated a series of rules and regulations to force them to learn English, such as Band 4 and Band 6. Even the doctoral students studying Chinese painting have to meet what standards to enter English, which makes the doctoral tutor resign.
In fact, English learning in schools is far more important than Chinese learning. How many of our graduates know classical Chinese and can read Huangdi Neijing? How many people can write poems and recite them? In 2005, 25% of the college entrance examination students in Guangdong Province got zero marks for the translation of ancient Chinese sentences and the appreciation of poems. According to the survey, 75% of college students don't know what Huangdi Neijing is.
Japan is the country with the worst English level in the world, but it is also a big country in science, technology and economy. So English level does not represent a country's scientific and technological level and economic level. There is no need for all our students to learn English. There is also a question of national pride. Our Premier Zhou never speaks English on formal occasions, but speaks Chinese, which is translated by an interpreter. However, our program host will pop up two sentences in English to show "fashion", but the "international conference" held in China with only three or two foreigners requires all speeches to be in English to show "integration with the international community".
(3) The two waves of returnees let us learn western culture alive and swallow the dates.
You can enrich yourself by learning from other people's good things, but you should digest and absorb, that is, assimilate foreign cultures instead of alienating yourself. There have been two waves of "returnees" in China. The first time was the upsurge of studying abroad and returning to China in the late Qing Dynasty. After returning to China, most of them made important contributions to the construction of the motherland, the development of science and technology, the Cultural Revolution and the overthrow of the corrupt Qing government, such as Zhan Tianyou, Liang Sicheng, Lu Xun and Sun Yat-sen. However, under the influence of western culture, some "returnees" sometimes can't digest and absorb well. Instead, they swallow their studies alive and gulp them down. I don't like many things left by my ancestors after I came back. For example, after studying in Japan, Lu Xun, Wang Daheng and Qian thought that Chinese medicine was backward, which was influenced by Japan's trend of abandoning Chinese medicine, worshipping western medicine alone and the theory of backward Chinese characters. Yu Yunxiu even proposed "old and useless medical records" to completely eliminate Chinese medicine. Due to the influence of returnees, the May 4th Movement emerged, which overthrew Kongjiadian and popularized vernacular Chinese. Judging from the situation at that time, the May 4th Movement played a positive role, but in the long run, it is wrong to completely deny traditional culture, with great negative effects. Today, people once again realize the value of Kong Old Master Q: in the 1980s, Nobel Prize winners met in Paris, and Dr. Alvin, a Swedish physicist and Nobel Prize winner, said at the press conference at the end of the meeting that if human beings want to survive in the 2 1 century, they must go back to learning the wisdom of Confucius 2,500 years ago. Some of our compatriots seem to have "entered Lan Zhi's room".
The second upsurge of "returnees" appeared in the return of international students, which began in the late 1980s. These returned experts and scholars have made great contributions to China's reform, opening up and economic development. However, some individuals forgot their own culture, brought back western culture that may not be suitable for China's national conditions, and forgot their responsibilities as a China person. As a result, the exposed culture of the west is on our TV, and it is more and more exposed (they forget that their navel is cold, and diseases will come to us in a few years). They spend Christmas Eve, Christmas, Valentine's Day and April Fool's Day, forgetting their own Double Ninth Festival, Qixi Festival and Dragon Boat Festival (more than 20 TV stations publicized Valentine's Day in 2004). In 2005, several TV stations hyped Christmas; What does Christmas have to do with China? Do Americans celebrate the Spring Festival and Dragon Boat Festival? ! What's more, a few people may forget the interests of their motherland because they have studied abroad and think they are proud of serving foreigners. A person who works for a foreign organization, after being expelled from an association, strongly advocates the superiority of the American social system, the legitimacy of Bush's attack on Iraq, and that the United States should send troops to China to destroy China's dictatorship, just like a traitor.
Let's not forget that the graduate student award system in the United States is not only a talent harvester, but also a brainwashing machine to cultivate talents from all over the world with American cultural concepts. The key is to see if they can control it. In the memorandum submitted to President Roosevelt, the president of the University of Illinois in the United States said: "Which country can successfully educate this generation of China youth will get the greatest possible return in spirit, knowledge and commercial influence because of its efforts." The State Council's "Evaluation Report on the Implementation of Sino-US Scientific and Technological Cooperation in 2002-2003" submitted to Congress said:
"It was only in the late 1980s and 1990s that China students began to get a large number of American graduate degrees. As these students gradually acquire qualifications in China, the number of China senior officials with American graduate degrees will increase accordingly. As far as this powerful situation is concerned, the influence of China scientists on China policy is immeasurable, but it is undoubtedly important. For example, officials with American education background in the Ministry of Health of China have made important contributions to bilateral cooperation between the United States and China and information exchange on important health issues such as AIDS and SARS, and they have gradually adopted an open attitude towards new ideas. "
As we know, Brazil and India have rejected AIDS donations from the United States to ensure that the right to drug research and disease treatment of AIDS is controlled in their own hands. Our country accepted the donation. The World Journal, the largest Chinese newspaper in the United States, reported that 500,000 farmers in China have become laboratory mice of international western medicine manufacturers, and only give 10 yuan every day. Chicken plague is chicken plague (although birds also suffer from this plague). According to foreigners, it is called bird flu, and chickens that are not sick are buried alive according to foreigners' methods. According to reference news, the United States praised China's Ministry of Health for its happy cooperation in avian influenza. People in China are never afraid of the flu. Two pairs of traditional Chinese medicine can solve the problem, but it is necessary to advocate a vaccine that will never catch up with the variation of influenza virus. In fact, it created panic, wasted people and money, and played the role of advertising foreign vaccine companies.
(d) Westernization education leads to "scientism" and only believes in and develops western medicine.
The spread of western learning to the east and westernized education have led to the breeding of "scientism", which has led to those who only believe in the west and do not believe in themselves. So strange theories such as "China has no philosophy and China has no science", "Chinese medicine is unscientific" and "Chinese medicine must be in line with international standards" appeared. In a word, the moon in foreign countries is rounder than that in China!
After the founding of New China, the Central Ministry of Health believed that TCM was feudal medicine and should be overthrown with the collapse of feudal society. Although Chairman Mao criticized this wrong practice, removed Wang Bin and He Cheng from their posts as deputy ministers, and proposed that "Western medicine should learn Chinese medicine", the Central Ministry of Health has always believed in Western medicine and only developed it. Western medicine has developed from 87,000 1949 to1750,000 today, and Chinese medicine has dropped from 500,000 to 270,000 today. About one-third of the students in 32 Chinese medicine colleges spend their time studying western medicine, while only half of the students in western medicine colleges spend their time studying Chinese medicine. How asymmetrical this is!
Recently, a comrade said: Chinese medicine should not only set facts, but also tell the truth; You can't just put facts, you can't tell the truth, and you can't convince people. That won't do. In fact, it is still necessary to measure Chinese medicine by the standards of western medicine and explain Chinese medicine by the standards of western medicine. In fact, it's not that Chinese medicine can't explain clearly, but that experts who lack China cultural background and preconceived western culture can't understand it. You can only understand it if you get in. Some western comrades later fell in love with Chinese medicine, which showed that they understood Chinese medicine and were deeply impressed by its profoundness.
Some of our academicians are "scientists". Recently, they began to say that Chinese medicine is unscientific, "pseudoscience" and anti-science. Fortunately, one of them said that he heard it from someone abroad after a while, and the other said the truth after that. He didn't understand Chinese medicine. German doctor Boquet has been promoting Chinese medicine for 48 years. He said that because he knows and teaches western medicine, he dares to criticize only because he knows himself. However, some academicians in China claim that they don't understand Chinese medicine but dare to deny it. What does this mean? !
Because of scientism, Chinese medicine laughs at Chinese medicine if it doesn't treat cancer; Chinese medicine cured cancer. He would rather say that his diagnosis was wrong than admit that it was cured by Chinese medicine. It is clear that acupuncture can treat malaria, which also opens up a new idea for treating AIDS without killing viruses, but the great authority arbitrarily said: acupuncture can't cure malaria, and those patients are self-healing. Liu Hairuo was mainly cured by Chinese medicine. At first, he only promoted western medicine, but in the end, he said it was the result of "integration of Chinese and Western medicine". The so-called "combination" is because Hai Ruo has no swallowing function. He uses a nasal feeding tube to infuse traditional Chinese medicine. Nasal feeding tube is western medicine.
On the morning of April 26th, 2003, we invited three Chinese medicine experts from Guangzhou to Beijing to hold an academic exchange meeting on the successful treatment of SARS with Chinese medicine. At the invitation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Guangzhou experts reported to the "SARS Science and Technology Research Group" how Chinese medicine successfully treated SARS. During the report, someone interjected: "There is no comparison with western medicine, which can't explain the problem." Finally, a leader of the Academy of Sciences said to the experts in Guangzhou: "You should come up with a standard thing and compare it with western medicine. If it proves that Chinese medicine is really effective, we will organize promotion. " Why is it required to compare Chinese medicine with western medicine, and why is it not required to compare western medicine with Chinese medicine? ! After all, I still don't believe that Chinese medicine is science.
All walks of life have responded well to the results of our 2003 project "Research on the Strategic Position of Traditional Chinese Medicine". The general report was published in seven newspapers, including People's Daily, Guangming Daily and China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and also in four magazines, including China Engineering Science. Thirteen thousand copies were reprinted all over the country and sent to various departments in the State Council as research reports of the Research Office of the State Council. The central leadership also gave instructions on the report of the research group, and so on. When the project was accepted, the judges unanimously suggested to declare the "First Prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress". In 2005, we applied to Beijing for the first prize of scientific and technological progress. Unexpectedly, the two experts asked the same question in reply: "Do you agree with Western medicine?" Another judging expert raised a similar question, which made us laugh and cry. When is it stipulated that western medicine is the trial standard of Chinese medicine? Thus, to what extent western culture and education have led to the proliferation of scientism in China, and many of our comrades have moved other people's "memorial tablets" to their own temples. Such prejudice, how can you listen to the correct opinions of others and put Chinese medicine in your eyes!
German professor Poquet said that it was the doctors in China who wiped out Chinese medicine themselves.
Mistakes in TCM education
Chinese medicine education is the foundation of developing Chinese medicine. Whether the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine can be continuously improved, whether the basic theoretical research of traditional Chinese medicine can be carried out according to its own laws, and whether the cause of traditional Chinese medicine can develop and grow are closely related to the training and education of the next generation of Chinese medicine inheritors. However, the facts are not optimistic. At present, the education of TCM in the College of TCM lacks the characteristics of TCM, and it is really difficult for the trained TCM talents to undertake the heavy responsibility of inheriting and carrying forward the cause of TCM. The mode is single, which denies the mature inheritance education and self-study talent training mode of Chinese medicine application for thousands of years; Moreover, according to the laws of western medicine, Chinese medicine is subdivided into Chinese medicine college, Chinese medicine college, acupuncture and massage college, etc. As a result, doctors don't understand medicine and medicines don't understand medicine, which violates the laws of traditional Chinese medicine itself.
(A) has been holding a negative attitude towards Chinese medicine for a hundred years.
As early as the late Qing Dynasty, many people began to belittle and deny TCM. During the Kuomintang period, influenced by "total westernization", he tried to eliminate Chinese medicine twice. 19 14, the chief education officer Wang Daxie proposed: "I am determined to abolish Chinese medicine and replace it." 1929, the Ministry of Health of the old government formally passed the case of abolishing old doctors to remove medical and health obstacles, but it failed to be implemented twice because of fierce opposition from the people.
After the founding of New China, Chinese medicine is still often labeled as "conservative" and "unscientific". In the early 1950s, Wang Bin, vice minister of the Central Ministry of Health, proposed that Chinese medicine was feudal medicine and should be eliminated with the elimination of feudal society. It is stipulated that Chinese medicine practitioners are not allowed to enter the hospital; To enter the hospital, you must learn western medicine knowledge, including anatomy and so on. At the same time, a Chinese medicine further education school was established for Chinese medicine to learn western medicine and anatomy. These practices were criticized by Mao Zedong and the CPC Central Committee, and two deputy ministers were dismissed, but their ideological influence always existed. In fact, for more than 50 years since the founding of New China, the Ministry of Health has almost always been the unification of Western medicine. They only have knowledge of western medicine, believe in western medicine and only develop western medicine. They don't understand Chinese medicine, don't believe in Chinese medicine, and have never tried to understand Chinese medicine, let alone learn and develop Chinese medicine. It is because of their subjective assumptions that Chinese medicine is unscientific, and they always hope to "raise" Chinese medicine to the level of western medicine, or use Chinese medicine as a botanical medicine for phytochemical research, which is euphemistically called "modernization of Chinese medicine".
Since 1956, the first batch of 6 TCM colleges were established, there are now 32 TCM colleges. These colleges and universities have trained a large number of TCM talents for China, and played an important role in stabilizing the TCM team and continuing the basic and theoretical research of TCM. However, we can't help but see that due to the increasing neglect of traditional culture in basic education of traditional Chinese medicine, the increasing degradation of theoretical research of traditional Chinese medicine and the declining clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine, and the death of a large number of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners who are proficient in traditional Chinese medicine theory and clinical practice, there are no successors, and traditional Chinese medicine has fallen into an embarrassing situation that can make traditional Chinese medicine lose itself. During the Republic of China, the Kuomintang attempted to abolish TCM, which was probably the most serious external blow to TCM. However, Chinese medicine is still full of vitality, because at that time, several Chinese medicine schools were basically able to carry out Chinese medicine education on their own according to the ideas of Chinese medicine, and Chinese medicine education was still flourishing. At that time, there were a large number of doctors who were proficient in the theory and clinic of traditional Chinese medicine, and folk Chinese medicine practitioners were still allowed to take disciples to teach themselves. But now, although everyone is shouting "revitalizing Chinese medicine", if Chinese medicine cannot get out of the misunderstanding of education and lose its inheritor and mainstay, Chinese medicine is likely to be destroyed by our generation.
(2) The Ministry of Health has not developed TCM education for more than 50 years.
People who report good news but not bad news always say that Chinese medicine has made great progress in recent years. For example, up to now, there are more than 2,600 Chinese medicine hospitals with 270,000 beds, 32 Chinese medicine colleges with 65,438+10,000 students, nearly 50 secondary Chinese medicine schools, and some western medicine colleges have also set up Chinese medicine majors. Chinese medicine seems to have flourished for more than 50 years. But if we compare it with modern medical education horizontally, we will find that there is a big gap between them. In 2003, there were *** 136 medical colleges in China, including western medicine colleges 104 and traditional Chinese medicine colleges, with a ratio of 3 ∶1; However, the scale of TCM colleges is much smaller, and the teaching conditions, environment and funds are far from those of modern medical colleges.
During the Qing government, Chinese medicine could still cultivate 800 thousand Chinese medicine by mentoring and self-study. Why can only 32 "manufacturing factories" of senior TCM talents train 270,000 TCM practitioners in 2004? We can't help but think that this is caused by the fact that the Ministry of Health thinks that Chinese medicine is unscientific for more than 50 years and only develops western medicine without developing Chinese medicine.
(C) the misunderstanding of the teaching content of traditional Chinese medicine
At present, the weakening of Chinese traditional cultural knowledge in the basic education system directly leads to students' difficulty in understanding the concepts and theories of traditional Chinese medicine. Learning Chinese medicine well needs profound traditional culture and extensive knowledge as the foundation. There is no formula to set, and the answer cannot be obtained through calculus. Understanding based on intuitive thinking is very important. Students who have cultivated logical and conceptual ways of thinking through mathematics and physics since childhood have "congenital deficiency" from the beginning, which will inevitably produce "metaphysical" ideas about basic concepts such as Yin-Yang and Five Elements of TCM and exclude TCM.
There are also great defects in the curriculum of Chinese medicine schools, and the proportion of Chinese medicine courses is decreasing day by day. For example, in the five-year undergraduate teaching plan formulated by a university of traditional Chinese medicine in 2004, only 33.86% of Chinese medicine classes, 39.38% of western medicine classes, and 26.76% of English and computer courses. (while students in western medicine colleges usually only study Chinese medicine for 30 hours), the proportion of the latter two is increasing year by year. In the 1980s, Hengyang Conference stipulated that the course of western medicine in Chinese medicine colleges should not exceed 500 hours, but it has gradually increased since then, exceeding 1500 hours.
College English takes up too much study time of students in TCM colleges, and their main customers are China people. What they need most is a solid knowledge of ancient Chinese. The requirements of universities for English should be lowered. Liu Xiaofeng, vice governor of Sichuan Province, has repeatedly put forward to the relevant departments: "Chinese medicine schools should take classical literature instead of foreign languages." At the same time, the classics of traditional Chinese medicine, which have always been valued by traditional Chinese medicine, have been continuously deleted and even become elective courses. Chinese medicine and Chinese pharmacy are two relatively independent majors. Doctors don't know medicine, and medicine doesn't know medicine. In this way, students' knowledge structure will be "disabled", and it is difficult for Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine to fully develop, even if it is maintained at the original level.
The content of TCM course is also debatable. At present, there are more and more far-fetched interpretations of western medicine in Chinese medicine textbooks, even a section of Chinese medicine theory and a section of western medicine theory, which mix two subjects that are difficult to integrate, so teachers can't continue teaching and students are at a loss. Moreover, the current educational methods are more and more simplified, formulaic and standardized, losing the flexible and dynamic characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. As a result, students "failed to learn Chinese medicine well and failed to learn western medicine" and became two secondary school students. Therefore, there will be a strange phenomenon. When students first enter school, they believe and love Chinese medicine and are willing to study and fight for the cause of Chinese medicine. However, when they graduate, they no longer believe in the efficacy of Chinese medicine and prefer to use only simple western medicine. We should reflect: What have we taught the next generation?
Liu Xiaofeng, vice governor, clearly pointed out, "Many students in Chinese medicine colleges are unwilling to recite' soup heads' and read classics. After graduation, there were typos in the prescription, and I relied on modern detection methods for diagnosis, but I didn't really master Chinese medicine. Why is this happening? One of the important reasons is that Chinese medicine colleges have adopted the educational methods of western medicine colleges, but they have lost the characteristics of Chinese medicine education, which violates the law of Chinese medicine success. " And instructed the secretary of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine: "your's task is not to turn Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine into a western medicine institution. Students trained by Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine must have traditional medical knowledge and skills. "
(D) The education of highly educated Chinese medicine is worrying.
At present, not only the undergraduate education of Chinese medicine is worrying, but also the highly educated education of Chinese medicine. It is difficult to train doctors who can diagnose diseases by listening, listening and asking questions with Chinese medicine thinking, and the situation of postgraduate education is even more worrying.
Traditional Chinese medicine is clinical medicine. For thousands of years, its theory has been summarized from clinic, not from laboratory research. Since the undergraduate education of traditional Chinese medicine, the school has instilled experimental ideas into students, trying to guide students' ideas to the ideas and methods of western medicine, and called them "science" and "modernity". This is the real "westernization", westernization. Scientific experiments are not the only way to know the world. China Academy of Social Sciences seems to have no laboratory!
Postgraduate education of traditional Chinese medicine is even more worrying. Postgraduate dissertations are almost experimental research, which does not highlight the academic characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine at all. Some even have nothing to do with traditional Chinese medicine except its name. The contents of the paper are all experimental studies on western medicine pharmacy. This kind of research results can neither guide the clinical practice of TCM nor have any substantial and beneficial influence on the development of basic theories of TCM. It is difficult for the masters and doctors trained in this way to produce famous doctors in the true sense like Pu Fuzhou and Yue Meizhong, and it is impossible for them to shoulder the heavy responsibility of developing Chinese medicine. Clinical efficacy is the basis of the survival of traditional Chinese medicine. However, the current masters and doctors of Chinese medicine are only immersed in animal experiments, addicted to the "cutting-edge" indicators of modern medicine, ignoring the study of Chinese medicine classics and neglecting the cultivation of clinical ability, but they are euphemistically called "scientific and technological talents". This cannot but arouse our worries and anxieties: such academic and experimental Chinese medicine has become the mainstream. If this continues, where will Chinese medicine go?
(5) It is illegal to pass on education between master and apprentice.
It is an important issue how to correctly treat the folk traditional Chinese medicine cultivated by the way of learning from others. Mentoring and self-study are the main modes of transmission of traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. We can't ignore the existence of effective methods of mentoring for thousands of years, and we can't simply and rudely kill all folk Chinese medicine practitioners in order to prevent the occurrence of medical adverse events. You can't ban cars from the road to prevent traffic accidents, can you? ! How to effectively distinguish those doctors who have real talent and practical knowledge and master the skills of treating diseases and saving lives from those who wander the rivers and lakes and cheat doctors, and let them participate in the team of doctors who help the world and save lives, truly reflecting the spirit of benefiting the people of our country and government and the management ability reflected by excellent appraisal level. According to the conservative estimation of Professor Deng Tietao of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, "According to the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are about 50,000 real folk Chinese medicine practitioners in China. They have been practicing medicine for more than ten or twenty years, but they can no longer practice medicine, which is a great loss to the disadvantaged groups in rural areas and cities." According to our investigation, for many years, many provinces in China have not organized students' examination programs, and many folk Chinese medicine practitioners have no way to prove it. Some of them can only change careers, and some are still "illegally practicing medicine", and they are in danger of being investigated and blackmailed by some unscrupulous officials in the medical administration department at any time. Moreover, the form and content of the current folk Chinese medicine vocational examination are not conducive to the selection of talents. First of all, most folk Chinese medicine practitioners can't be admitted to professional doctors, and most of the skill operation tests are about western medicine knowledge, while the written test 1/6 is about pure western medicine, and the remaining 5/6 is about basic and clinical courses of Chinese medicine. The examination form is fixed and the examination content is rigid. A certain syndrome type of a disease can only be used by one party listed in the textbook, without considering the flexibility and complexity of clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine. Moreover, the current restrictions on the scope of power and treatment methods of folk Chinese medicine practice are too dead, which is not conducive to the inheritance and development of Chinese medicine.
According to our investigation in aids village, Qilu folk Chinese medicine took the initiative to treat aids village patients for free for three or four years before the country had time to care for AIDS patients for 200 1 year, and treated nearly 600 people before and after, with good curative effect and made great contributions to stabilizing the people's hearts. It can be seen that mentoring can also cultivate Chinese medicine talents; In another sense, these "guerrillas" are more courageous than the regular troops trained in our colleges and universities. However, their actions were not praised or encouraged, and six of them were forced to leave aids village without medical certificates. This shows the attitude of the relevant departments to the folk inheritance and self-study of traditional Chinese medicine.
Judging from the current situation of Chinese medicine education, it is difficult for colleges and universities to undertake the important task of inheriting and developing Chinese medicine because of insufficient inheritance. Although folk Chinese medicine does not have the right to practice medicine now, it has made important contributions to preserving the characteristics and essence of Chinese medicine and will play an increasingly significant role in the future. The hope of revitalizing Chinese medicine is more pinned on folk Chinese medicine. Therefore, Pu Fuzhou will not let his son go to town. He believes that only by exercising at the grassroots level and serving the public can he become an excellent Chinese medicine practitioner.
