What are the specific characteristics of tile cement?

Characteristics of ceramic tile cement

Ceramic tile cement is a special binder for polymer-modified cement-based ceramic tiles, and its construction performance and bonding performance are greatly improved compared with traditional cement mortar. No need to dip bricks, fast construction; Thin layer structure, reducing self-weight; Strong adhesion, not easy to empty drum; Non-toxic, environmentally friendly, weatherproof and waterproof.

Application scope of tile adhesive

Ceramic tile cement is suitable for pasting ordinary ceramic tiles, ceramics, mosaics and small natural stones on indoor and outdoor concrete, plastering base and brick walls.

Substrate surface treatment

1. All base surfaces shall be solid, dry and clean, free from sloshing, oil stains, wax stains, concrete curing agents and other loose objects.

2. The painted base surface should be rough, exposing at least 80% of the original base surface.

3, the new pouring concrete base, should be at least 28 days before bricklaying.

4, the new plaster base should be maintained for at least 7 days before paving.

5. Old concrete or plastering base surface can be cleaned with industrial detergent or degreasing agent, and then washed with high-pressure faucet. Its surface must be dried for 24 hours before it can be laid.

6. Remove the residue on the concrete surface, especially the release agent left on the inclined concrete slab.

7, at the grass-roots level with high water absorption or in a high temperature and dry environment, the surface of the grass-roots level must be wet before construction.

Preparation of ceramic tile adhesive material

1. The mixing ratio of this product and water is 5 liters to 5.5 liters per 20 kilograms (one package) of tile rubber powder.

2. When mixing, add water first, and then pour in the tile rubber powder. Stir water and tile rubber powder into a uniform paste with an electric mixer. After standing for 5 to 10min, stir again and use.

3. If the weight of ceramic tile rubber powder stirred at one time is less than 5kg, manual stirring can also be used.

Ceramic tile cement construction technology

1. Use a toothed scraper to smear the stirred ceramic tile cement on the working surface to make it evenly distributed and zigzag. The area of each coating is about 1 m2 (depending on the weather and temperature), and then the tiles are kneaded and pressed on the working surface during the airing time.

2, choose the size of the tooth scraper should consider the smoothness of the working face and the degree of concave and convex on the back of the ceramic tile.

3. If the gap on the back of ceramic tile is deep or the stone and ceramic tile are large and heavy, ceramic tile cement should be painted on the working face and back of ceramic tile for construction.

Matters needing attention of tile cement

1, the construction temperature is 5-40℃.

2. It is best to stir with an electric mixer, and stirring again after standing will help to increase adhesion.

3. The ratio of ceramic tile rubber powder to water can be appropriately adjusted according to different substrates, weather and construction conditions.

4. During construction in rainy days, protective measures must be taken to keep out, and the construction area should not be wet by rain within 24 hours after bricklaying.

5. According to the weather, the prepared tile adhesive should be used up within 2-3 hours.

6. Never mix dry tile cement with water before use.

7. After the completion of tile laying, the next joint filling process can only be carried out after the tile cement is completely dried (about 24h).

8. The scraping coating of the ceramic tile daub should be uniform and full, and the thickness of the adhesive layer should be about half of the tooth spacing of the used tooth scraper.

Reference dose

1. When pasting small-sized tiles, it is recommended to use a 6mm×6mm tooth scraper.

2. It is recommended to use 10mm× 10mm or 12 mm× 12 mm for pasting large-sized tiles. ..

3. Reference dose when using different tooth scrapers:
