6:30 to do the bus about 1.5 hours to Lanzhou Railway Station to take the train to Zhangye City, the car is really too tired, for me, 4 hours almost rested, get up is still spirit, with the troops set off. Lanzhou to Zhangye train about 2.5 hours ride, we 11:00 or so to Zhangye. After arriving at Zhangye there was another tour guide to receive us, responsible for the arrangements for the last two days. The guide received us another 2 hours bus ride to today's destination: Zhangye Danxia National Geopark.

In the morning from Lanzhou to Zhangye on the train encountered beautiful scenery: Qilian Mountains, the mountains covered with snow, Qilian Mountain highest altitude of about 5000 meters, Qilian Mountain in order to protect the ecological environment, has been prohibited from foreign visits to tourism, only from a distance to see her beauty.

1. Geographic location

Zhangye City, located in the middle of the Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, is one of the four counties in Hexi in ancient times. 2. Formation causes

The red sandstone refers to the red gravel rock by long-term weathering stripping and water erosion, the formation of isolated peaks and steep strange rocks. The Danxia landforms here were developed in the pre-Jurassic to Tertiary period, about 2 million years ago. Danxia landforms are mainly distributed in China, the western United States, Central Europe and Australia, etc., with the most widely distributed in China.

3. Honors

4. Landscape Area

The landscape area mainly includes the Binggou Danxia Scenic Area and the seven-color Danxia Scenic Area two major scenic areas, the two places about 12 kilometers apart. Ice ditch Danxia scenic area is mainly distributed in Zhangye City, Sunan County, Kangle Township, Baiyin Township section, the seven-color Danxia scenic area is mainly distributed in Linze County, Ni Jiaying Township. 5. Film and television shooting base

Zhang Yimou's "Three Gun Shooting" in the endless red mountains, is the Zhangye Danxia landform.

Zhang Yimou's Zhangye colorful Danxia is very favored, and with the 2016 release of the film "The Great Wall", the scene is also in Zhangye Danxia, the most beautiful clouds in the sky, the most beautiful landscape on the ground, William, Tovar was chased by the Khitans.
