Mother's day is a traditional festival in China?
Mother's Day originated in modern America, and then became popular all over the world.
Mother's Day was founded by an American, Ms Anna Chá vez. In order to commemorate her dead mother and fulfill her dying wish, she decided to set up Mother's Day after her death. Later, it was approved by the US Congress, so Mother's Day was established.
Mother's Day in China is a festival put forward by experts and scholars in recent years to promote China's traditional culture and give thanks for maternal love. Like Christmas in China, Thanksgiving in China and Father's Day in China, it is still a "festival" that has not been formally determined.
Now Mother's Day has become an international commemorative festival. It is a favorable measure to carry forward excellent traditional culture and build two civilizations. The festival will be held during the World Mother's Day, and will be established thereafter to maintain the inheritance and stability of the annual festival and form a new folk festival.
Mother's Day is a time to thank your mother. Mothers usually receive gifts on this day. Carnation is considered as a flower dedicated to mother, while China's mother flower is Hemerocallis, also known as the girl without sorrow.
