1, Shaozitang
Shaozitang was founded in the early years of the Republic of China. The main raw material of Shaozi soup is millet. Grinding millet into pulp, adding fresh chicken soup, sheep oil, vermicelli, fennel, ginger, pepper, monosodium glutamate and salt.
When eating, pour the special beef whistle and Chili oil into the bowl, which is delicious, not fishy, not greasy and has a long aftertaste. It's called "whistle soup" because you have to blow it into your mouth when you drink it.
2. Back to the building yam
Hui Lou Yam is a famous traditional local product, which is produced in Dianji Township, Yucheng County, the hometown of Yi Yin, the prime minister of Shang Tang and the originator of chefs.
According to legend, when Yi Yin was a senior official in Shang Dynasty, he used this yam (which was wild at that time) to make soup for the king. Because it was tender, dry, sweet and delicious, the king was very satisfied with it, so he named Yi Yin as prime minister and made him loyal to his country. According to Yucheng County Records, it was named "Yipin Yam" in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, which was dedicated to later palaces.
3. Shangqiu Paper-cut
Shangqiu paper-cutting is an ancient traditional folk art with a long history, and the styles of paper-cutting vary from place to place. Paper-cutting in Henan has developed into two major schools: East Henan and West Henan. Most of the paper-cuts in western Henan are traditional paper-cuts.
Paper-cutting in eastern Henan is mostly based on the daily life of modern people, reflecting people's customs and habits, and absorbing the nutrition of traditional crafts such as shadow play, clay sculpture, puppet, embroidery, folk printing and dyeing. Zou Suyun, a paper-cut artist in Mazhuang Village, Huodian Township, Xiayi County, Shangqiu City, is famous for cutting dragons at home and abroad, and is known as "loong Girl".
4. Yongcheng crisp pear
Crispy pear, a specialty of Yongcheng, is represented by crisp pear produced in Gaozhuang town, and has been cultivated for 300 years. The existing pear orchard area in Gaozhuang Town is 1.5 million mu, of which Shengguo 1.5 million mu, with an annual output of 1.0 million kg, which is the main producing area of Yongcheng crisp pear.
5. Wei Zhuang ma Tang
Weizhuang Matang is a distinctive traditional name of Shuangba Town, liangyuan district, Shangqiu City. Up to now, it has a production history of more than 200 years, and has a long-standing reputation for its four characteristics of sweetness, fragrance, looseness and crispness. This sesame candy is made of high-quality rice, sugar, sesame and malt. Distilling rice, adding sugar catalytic enzyme, and squeezing out sugar juice. After boiling, pulling and cutting, add sesame seeds and white flour.
Sesame sugar is uniform in thickness and length, sesame is wrapped without skin, both ends are sealed airtight, not hard and non-sticky, crisp and sweet, and palatable.
