Contemporary Masters of Tengnuo Taijiquan

1 Li Jixing

Li Jixing, a native of Southeast Leng Village, Beileng Township, Wen County, Jiaozuo, Henan Province, was born in 1968 into a Tengnuojie Taijiquan family, and is a fourth-generation Tengnuojie Taijiquan master. His grandfather, Li Zai Rong, was a famous taijiquan master in the late Qing Dynasty, and a retrained disciple of Li Zuozhi (1844-1914), the founder of Tengnuojia. Li Jixing has a rich family background and learned Taijiquan from his grandparents since he was a child, with pure kung fu and standardized routines. Up to now, Li Jixing has been practicing his family's 74-step Tengnuojia Taijiquan for more than 30 years. Due to various reasons, Tengnuojia has a small circulation and a narrow teaching area, and is far less famous than other kinds of Taijiquan. In order to preserve this ancient and excellent fist and carry forward, Li Jixing not only insisted on waking up every day and practicing boxing, but also widely read martial arts and medical books, visited famous masters all over the world and exchanged ideas, and did not forget to record the teaching experience in his spare time, in order to let more people enjoy the benefits of practicing kung fu.

In the past ten years, Mr. Li Jixing has been teaching in Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Beijing, Shanghai and other places. In addition to his excellent Kung Fu, he also has considerable practical and theoretical knowledge, and has made outstanding achievements in internal Kung Fu, Push Hands and Technique Strike.

2 Huang Collective

Huang Collective, male, 50 years old, Dilin, Xuliang Town, Boai County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province.

Zhao Fort Taijiquan Tengnuo frame eleventh generation successor Mr. Huang collective, is today's Tengnuo frame one of the main table characters, has a good martial arts morals and martial arts style, humility and good learning, he painstakingly practice Tengnuo frame has been more than 35 years in the study of Tengnuo frame, quite attainments, and y its essence, now his disciples under the entrance of more than 100 people, the beginners, but also the painstaking, a move a posture, carefully taught. It is his greatest wish that students master the essentials as soon as possible, and there are countless scholars.

In October 2007, Mr. Huang was invited to participate in the Wushu strategic development seminar held in Wudang Mountain, Hubei Province, which was the first time that Mr. Huang went out of the mountain since he practiced Tengnuojia to take part in taijiquan exchanges and won the gold medal in the performance contest at one stroke!

Wen County, Jiaozuo is the birthplace of Taijiquan, and the culture of Taijiquan has a long history, while Zhaobao Taijiquan Tengnuojia is one of the wonders among many schools.

Today, one of the main representatives of Tengnuojie, the eleventh generation of Tengnuojie, Mr. Huang Collective, said that Zhao Bao taijiquan Tengnuojie is called Soft Thirteen, also known as Tengnuojie. Tengnuo frame Taijiquan originated in Wenxian Zhaobao Town, belonging to Zhaobao Town, an important branch of the Taijiquan school, due to a variety of reasons, Tengnuo frame is not widely circulated, but the distinctive characteristics of this set of boxing is still letting the practitioners love not. It was created by Mr. Li Zuozhi, a senior disciple of Taijiquan master Chen Qingping. The boxing method is based on Wang Zongyue's "Taijiquan Theory" and guided by Chen Qingping's "the body stakes down, practicing boxing with a rope, practicing the rounding of the strength, using the strength naturally, twisting the hands to change, and not realizing the sharp poison". The fist frame is spacious and generous, light and round, majestic, simple and elegant. The stance, footwork and maneuvers are clearly defined and well thought out. The big frame is not big, the small frame is not small, and the style is unique.

3 Li Qunhu

Li Qunhu, male, Han nationality, born in 1954, is a native of Nanzhangqiang, Wen County, Henan Province. Li Qunhu is the fourth generation of Taijiquan Tengnuojia, under the tutelage of Li Jingsen, Li Jinghua and Liu Xizhong, and is a national level master.

Li Qunhu has been a martial arts enthusiast since he was a child, and at the age of 17, he began to learn Li Zuo-zhi Taijiquan from his ancestors Li Jingsen and Li Jinghua. A few years later, introduced by the two ancestors, from Liu Xizhong learning art. He was taught by a number of masters, was good at pushing hands, and was good at walking, and had deeper attainments in taijiquan techniques and theories.

In order to effectively protect the Taijiquan Tengnuojia and pass on the intangible cultural heritage of Taijiquan Tengnuojia, Li Qunhu took an active part in the application for the inscription of Taijiquan Tengnuojia, which was listed as an intangible cultural heritage of Jiaozuo City in 2008.

Li Qunhu has been teaching taijiquan since 1978, and his disciple Ren Guosheng won the second place in the 70 kilograms push hand match in the second annual meeting of taijiquan in Wenxian County, China. 2009 August, he was honored as the ambassador of the international taijiquan culture dissemination, and the title of golden-collar ambassador, and in May, 2010, he was hired as the special ambassador of the promotion of taijiquan in Jincheng City.
