This is contrary to the true way of salvation, which lies in relying on oneself, relying on one's own enlightenment, and one's own enlightenment is the true way of salvation. Ding Yuanying's help to Wangmiao village is only to kill the rich to help the poor. Will the villagers of Wangmiao village be saved because of this killing of the rich, no. The essence of killing the rich to help the poor is to help. No. Killing the rich and giving to the poor is in essence giving to the poor, not being saved. The real salvation has to come from their own realization, as Ding Yuanying said, "The Savior is not a man, it is the Way, and salvation is not a broken vow of devouring, it is enlightenment.
The book is called "The Distant Savior", and a TV series based on it is called "The Way of Heaven". I like reading books more than watching TV shows, because I think reading books can be a closer understanding of the author's thoughts, and it is easier to understand what the author wants to express, and it is also easier to realize the truth of it.
